Love This Series

I'm so glad that I took a chance on this series. Each book gets better. I have one more to go, but this one? It had me crying and laughing consistently. I couldn't put it down. Had to stay up to finish it. Well worth the credit or the cash.

Omg is an awesome book!!! I love Anthony even more than City's book. Without Me is my favorite one of the Gallos. I love Anthony cockiness and Max's attitude too.

Ok but ended not like you would believe

Fans of Alexa Riley's books will find this one up their alley.

If you are a fan of Alexa Riley's smutty and trashy books, you know the ones that as soon as you open it - you know it will be sex, sex, and more sex. That's what Forced by the Professor was like, and it is a quick read too. I have to admit out of my favorite erotic romance forbidden love couples - the teacher/student rates quite high on my list. In Forced by the Professor, we meet Zoey who is a law student, though in a way it seems she doesn't want actually to be there as she is always late, never does the course work and is skating on by. Turns out though that she has been testing the Professor - Mr. Stevens and it has worked as her punishment is doled out to her and he has his way with her. We then discover it was all a ploy as there is another Professor Stevens - Mrs. Stevens, who wants out of the marriage and his money which she can't officially have since they signed a prenup unless he is caught cheating. Which is where Zoey came in, She is the pawn between the two couples. I have to admit as I was reading, I was a little shocked that it became an F/F and M/F type story and that Zoey was sleeping with both Professors and then that ending shocked me a bit, but by then I was in this - Why not? Mood as they both seem to be enjoying her throughout the book.

This is a super adorable age play story which had me laughing and crying with the characters. I loved both Samantha and Jackson.

HOT with a PLOT!

G. Angel is so deft at creating believable characters. It's frighteningly easy to imagine oneself interacting with the people in the book, they just seem like the kind of folks you'd want to hang out with. That's what makes these books so much fun; it feels like a close friend is next to you on the couch, spilling all the scandalous details of their wild weekend, as well as the resulting fallout.

The story itself calls Anne Rice's Sleeping Beauty to mind, but without the pony play and with a whole lot more consenting adults to round out the kink. Great book.

I listened to the majority of Best Bondage Erotica, by Rachel Kramer Bussel, before bailing out and getting this instead. I can't tell if it's the reading or the quality of writing, but I find the interplay of power described in these stories to be somehow more passionate than BBE. So much more in line with my experience, or desired experience, as a sub.

Which scene was your favorite?

Something in the way the characters meet in Chapter 8 was so perfect; the inner voice of the begging sub is remarkably singleminded and pure.

Narration sort of killed it

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

Probably not. While some of the stories were actually pretty good, some even unique and interesting, the narration was almost painful to listen to much of the time. I assume it is because someone coached them to read it the way they all did,

What didnt you like about the narratorss performance?

The narration was so distracting that it actually threw cold water on the story. Since all the narrators read exactly the same way, I have to assume they were told to read it that way. Annunciation of every word and using a hard "a" any time an "a" appears in a sentence is not a natural way to speak, so it detracts from the story. I've heard technical presentations which were read less formally than this. Sadly, some of the stories were actually pretty good, but the odd way in which the narrator (often the author) read it made it hard to listen to. Also at times, the narrator (I think it was usually Ginger) would start the story with the classic high pitch "bimbo" sort of sound, then it would get dropped somewhere along the way and she would go back to her normal voice. Her own voice was fine, so there really wasn't a need to attempt to do something different, especially when it would not be held for the whole story (not that I'd want it to). Whoever told these ladies to read it the way they did needs to stop. It could have been so much better if they were simply allowed to read the stories in a more casual fashion. Also, during the "exciting" bits of the stories, there just wasn't always the excitement or emotion that there should be to really draw you in.

I found it interesting that these stories were written by women. I actually went back and checked after I had listened to probably half the book, because it didn't have the feel of erotica written by women. Little emphasis on anything other than penetration in many cases.

This story is a such a fantastic twist on a fairy tale, but like the original fairy tales that were full of blood and horror and killing and hope and love and redemption.

This story is beautiful and special and wonderful and strange and fantastic.

The character of Naef (called "Knife" by almost all) is so hurt, closed off and untrusting at the beginning (with good reason) but by the end has blossomed into such a wonderful character who burrowed under my skin and into my heart.

Nick J. Russo knocks it out of the park with this one. I'll admit, I wasn't really sure about Naef's character voice in the beginning, but it grew on me, as much as the character did. I just LOVED the narration.

The story is a slightly warped Beauty and The Beast, with a strong theme of inner beauty and humility.

Naef/Knife is a deformed young man who suffers at the hands of cruel villagers but is indulged with love by his sister and mother. Hes a master craftsman with wood, and has trained himself in defense with knives, thus his nick-name, a play on his real name, Knife.

Aerie-Smith is a Prince whose pride got him cursed into lion form. (Theres more to it than this, but this is a rough interpretation to save the story from being spoiled.) Like the original fairy-tale he must do something to overcome his curse and save not only himself but his entire village from permanently turning into the animal forms theyve been cursed with.

When Naefs sister meets Aeries cousin, they fall in love but she wont go with her beau and leave Naef. So, a bargain is struck wherein Naef can receive gold and peace and a new life in exchange for 18 months of his life as the companion to Aerie on his island after doing a regrettable task.

On the way to the island Aerie and Naef cement the budding friendship/love that started on the boat and continued on land. There is a lot of magic and story that I dont want to share because it gives too much away. But its beautiful and oh so creative.

Aerie tells Naef that at the end of his time, there will be a regrettable task hell have to undertake but the rest will be lovely.

This was my first experience with medical play stories, and not being female perhaps some of the tension passed me by. However, this is every bit as good of a story as suggested by the reviewers of the print version. Thus, I wont dwell on that. This is a very erotic twist to the Dom/sub relationship with some bondage to the stirrups {{wink}} and I dont mean to imply there are any cowboys in the story.

With the combination of the fast moving highly visual story and the very engaging reader (Jack Sterns), this audio book is a pinnacle example of this new means of presenting books/stories. It is very likely that the audio book is better than printed version.

This is also the first story Ive heard read by Jack Sterns. His performance provided a convincing voice to the dominant Dr. Drake, as well as that of Chloe as she learned to be his sub.

If there is a negative to this story, it is that it ends too quickly. However, its fast pace contributes so much to the heat of the erotic story. So, I cant subtract anything for this. I wish Darren and Chloe the best, and I hope to hear more of their adventures.

A very good short story

Never read a story from this author,but have to say I was not disappointed at all. It was sexy hot, without being over the top. The characters were good and the story line was great.

This story is a relationship between a Doctor and a Nurse's aide. Mutual attraction flares to a Dom/submissive relationship, which they never realized that, that was what each had been looking for throughout their previous sexual link ups.

I love that I can do mundane jobs and still enjoy a good fantasy, via the audio rendition of this book.
