Heart breakingly beautiful.
What did you like best about this story?
Taylor Jenkins Reid is a master at weaving a story. She makes you fall in love with all the characters.
Which scene was your favorite?
There are too many scenes that were great to pick a favorite. When Emma fell in love with Jesse and then with Sam, I felt for them also.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
There was point when it did make me cry. No spoilers!
Any additional comments?
The whole story was pulled together nicely and perfectly. Just a great read.
Poingnant Story
Simply stated, this was a poignantly written story about true love...
I am not one to write a review that gives a play by play of the plot, but I want to convey that this is an utterly amazing novel that connects you to the heart and soul of the extremely well-developed characters. The pace of this deeply moving story was perfect...Taylor Jenkins Reid is an exceptionally gifted author with the ability to captivate, entertain and emotionally engage the reader through her powerful writing. And Julia Whelan's narration captured the emotions of the character beautifully!

Heartfelt, suspenseful, a little too short (I know, that's not one word)
Who was your favorite character and why?
Sam. I felt for him when Emma didn't go for him in high school, and I so wanted her with him later on. I loved his kindness, levelheadedness, and his great sense of humor.
Which scene was your favorite?
Sam and Emma's first date.
Any additional comments?
I love Julia Whelan's voice, and have listened to her many many times. I do so wish she could do male voices better, though. All the men always sound the same.
I'm not big on romantic novels.
Though I'm not big on romantic novels I bought this one on a daily deal based in the reviews. I was not disappointed. I enjoyed the relationship challenges between all the characters. Worth the time and money.
