loved this book

By far my favorite book of the series. Both of the narrator's did an excellent job on this book. They captured the bad boy perfectly, and Lexie character had me laughing out loud more than once. Great overall story. I can't wait for Lucas.

Really fun!

I highly enjoyed this 7th book in the Cold Fury hockey series! Roman, the hero, is one of those players who is always making trouble for the team, whether it's fights or naked pics on Twitter. The heroine, Lexie, is the unknown daughter of Brian Brannon and sister to Gray Brannon. Gray is suspicious at first, but comes to accept that she has a sister. Roman meets Lexie on the day she comes to the team offices to try to meet her father, who she found out about just before her mother's death. He's instantly drawn toward her and the feeling is mutual. Things are complicated by Gray not having any liking or respect for Roman. It's entertaining to see how all these family shenanigans work out, because Brian meets Georgia (Lexie's boss) and they fall in love too. Great narration as always! I hope there are more books in this series!

Unapologetic Bad Boy on Ice

Roman is so bad that he's good -- truly another ice hockey god. And definitely good for the sweet and charming Lexie. The special treat of this book is that it's two love stories in one book. The Brannons are an endearing family and they find a way to pass that sense of family throughout the Cold Fury team. I love that these relationships are so entwined with the team and team politics. Sawyer Bennett has written another hit in this series.

The narrators were good but Graham Halstead did not speak Roman's voice with an accent. I really wanted to hear the accent.

Definitely worth a credit. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series.

Another good book in the series

Loved the fact that we got to see Brian's point of view. I liked Lexi and Roman. Good story.

Sexy was more than Sexy!!!

I read this book last year and could not wait for the audio release. In fact, I saved a credit specifically for Fletcher Novak lol.

Sexy begins with the MC being introduced as the lead dancer for the Mountain Men Male Review. He is cocky and all about finding his mark. I.E who will be in his bed for the evening. Until he finds someone who doesn't quite fit his normal one-nighter; Tiffy Preston...who also happens to be....oooh spoiler. Can't tell ya.

JA Huss sold me on Fletcher and Tiffy because it goes beyond sex and covers issues that face many women and men, although they may not admit it.

This story is not just about the sex appeal of Fletcher, but also about how we, meaning you and I perceive ourselves. How we think we know what others want, how we try to change ourselves to draw in the opposite sex or make others happy, and how we judge others prematurely. In a sense, it is about self-esteem and finding confidence to step outside the norm. And yeah, the sex scenes are HOT AF!

Sebastian York does so well in romantic comedies. He seems to have a natural unforced flow in these type of roles. I'm always drawn to his portrayal of cocky humorous guy verses his dirtier roles. He was a perfect match as Fletcher. The emotional scenes he gave and the comical areas were spot on. I just fell in love with him all over again.

His partner in crime Elena Wolfe brings Tiffy Preston to life with her naivete, stiff and sometimes funny demeanor. I love how Elena showed the passion and innocence behind Tiffy's presence, but also her strength and pain. She was able to pace the story and gave me sexy while she performed the intimate scenes between the two characters.

This audiobook gets 5 stars and is worth a read AND listen!

Oh Yes It Is Sexy!

I liked this story but there was just too much mystery where there was no need for it.This is a good story with mostly developed characters with enough intrigue to keep you hooked but Fletcher's character was too closed off and secretive and you don't get a sense for who he really is until the last 2 chapters. I would have liked to feel more of a connection with him and not keep hearing that's he's not who you think he is. There was instant heat and attraction between Fletcher and Tiffy and Sebastian and Elena made the chemistry feel palpable. As usual these two give an amazing narration.

It was worth the price I paid so I would recommend it as a good listen.

Fantastic captivating tale!

I adore JA Husss writing and this audiobook was so entertaining that I could hardly stop listening to sleep! Her characters seem to come alive and there is plenty of drama, angst and romance.

A SIMPLE TALE OF STRENGTH & LOVE

Sebastian Walker had been a party going Player after his parents died but, for the past year, he's turned his life around and his sole focus had been entirely taken up with working at Walker Industries developing alternative and sustainable energy sources. His mind wasn't at all focussed on women.. but one elevator ride changed everything because he had an instant overwhelming reaction when he saw and smelt the aloof stranger who he was pressed next to. But his good looks, charm and panty-melting smile had absolutely no impact on the beautiful woman who stiffly told him to move away. And just like that Sebastian was hooked, his interests grew and his fate was set.. but she was going to give him a challenging ride.

Paige knew exactly who was standing next to her in the lift on the first day at her job but, due to a traumatic event in her past, she had closed her emotions off and focussed entirely on her career. These two characters didn't do stupid things, didn't cause unnecessary dramas and didn't stray so theirs was a tender respectful growing together romance that solidified and reached an unbreakable love.

Victoria Arias= 40 times too many

What was most disappointing about JA Husss story?

Here is the thing-- I normally like JA Huss's writing style. I loved the 1st book in this series and I liked the second even though it was a bit more controversial-no problems there. This book though.....Oh how I struggled to finish this book. I would not have finished it had it not been part of a series that I want to see to the end. I also figured I would miss some Easter eggs if I skipped it. I was right. So the most disappointing part of this book was the character of Victoria Arias. Not only was she maybe the most annoying character I have ever come across but the constant use of her full name drove me nuts. It was used 40 times. I did a search on my Kindle just to see. It was very annoying.

What does Abby Craden and Ryan West bring to the story that you wouldnt experience if you just read the book?

The narration was great. I had no problems there. Although I have to say that Abby's narration was also spot on bitchy for Victoria. I can't say that it helped me to like the character any better, it was performed as written.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

I could not stop myself over and over from thinking "what an utter bitch" when it came to Victoria. I found everything about her to be childish and sullen instead of confident and independent as she wanted to be perceived. Oh and the constant slapping and hitting that she did of Weston while they were on the island. Enough already. I honestly cannot think of one redeeming quality for this character. I could go on and on about her negative traits and I cannot think of one positive one. So yeah, worst heroine ever and I use that term in the loosest form.

Any additional comments?

I am continuing with the series but this book was a definite fail for me. I would not read it again and I cannot recommend it.

The series gets better and better with each book.

I am a fan of the Mister Series, and now that I'm listening to the books the stories and characters are more appealing to me. The series is about five men who, as college students, are accused of a crime they didn't commit. All five men are hot, successful, and have secrets that unfold a little with each new story.

Mr. Corporate is the most "edge of the seat" mystery to me so far. There is the major story arc through the series regarding what happened in college and why. Who is behind the accusations and why do they want to hurt these particular men? There is also the second chance romance between Weston Conrad and Victoria Arias.

Weston and Victoria (Tori) are on again, off-again lovers since college.

Still laughing out loud!

This novella is the crossover blend between the first book in the series and the second. I love that is not your typical 1.5 novella with a nauseatingly sweet story about the newly happily ever after couple. Max Monroe did a great job blending the storylines of Kline and Georgie and Thatch and Cassie. I can't wait to dive into book two now. On top of it being a good story it is so freaking hilarious!!! It's worth the read just for the bonus love story between Walter and Stan!!! I'm still laughing about that!!!

Great Novella!

I love this series and this little novella did not disappoint! Great little addition, I LOVE Cassie and Thatcher so of course I'd love seeing how they first started. This audiobook was fun and hot....Like 75% sex lol Georgia and Kline's honeymoon.... well of course it was ALL sex ;)

I loved that the narrators from both Couple's books all narrated this book, I didn't have to get used to new voices for characters I already hear in my head!

The Cat Gets the Dog

I stumbled on Max Monroe"s doctor series which I really enjoyed. So I have continued with the Bad Boy Billionaires Series. (It is best to read the Bad Boy Billionaire Series first since each book connect into the next book, which leads up to the doctor series). Normally, I am not a fan of novella books, but this one was better than average. The scenes with Thatcher and Cassie dealing with their best friend's cat, while they were on their honeymoon was hysterical. This made me excited to listen to their story in Banking the Billionaire.

If you are going to continue the series, I think this novella is important to get an understanding of how Thatcher and Cassie's relationship starts off. As far as the continuations of Kline and Georgia story, well it was somewhat bland and really was just a set up for Thatcher and Cassie's story. Don't get me wrong, this novella is delightful and will have you cracking up. As far as the narrators go, they all do a good job bringing the book to life. I would give this 4 1/2 stars.

Great romantic suspense!

Audible Review: I loved this just as much as the first time and the narrator was really good. I have no complaints.

Story Review: This was a great read, the suspense was good and I liked the main characters. I spent the whole time trying to figure who was the threat and it took right to the very end before I figured it out. I liked that it wasn't obvious. I have to say, my favorite character was Ms Blackwell. She almost stole the show from Alex and Jennifer. There was also enough about Lisa and Tank that has me wanting to dive right into their story. Great writing!

Wow I should never judge a book.

This Book was a complete surprise. I put off reading it for a really long time because I had a false perception of what it was about. I could not remember why I bought it but remembered I got a deal on it.

Today, I told myself that I would start it, and if it turned out to be crap, I would just remove it from my Kindle. It took the entire day, but I could not put it down. I was so pleasantly surprised and entertained.

I absolutely loved Blackwell. The difference between Blackwell in her first appearance and subsequent Blackwell was a hoot. Never saw it coming.

I liked Jennifer. She seemed much more mature than someone in the mid-twenties, but that could be due to her background. I loved the friendship between Jennifer and Lisa, the loyalty and honesty.

Watching Alex and Jennifer's relationship unfold made for a very unexpected journey. For some reason, I expected this to be full of sex scenes. They had a relationship that built and developed as the book moved forward. Do not get me wrong, there are sex scenes. Some more detailed than others, but this book is mostly about their relationship and overcoming adversity.

Alex seemed to be so grounded and patient.

OH BOY.. I'M JUST LOVING THESE LANDRYS

From the first book in this addictive series I really didn't think I could love the Landry family any more than I already did.. but I was oh so wrong. This listen brought home just how close they are as a tight family unit - they're there for one another no matter what no matter when and I find that so inspiring. So it's no wonder that I fell hard for the baby of the family - the sweet, caring, carefree Baseball Superstar Lincoln Landry as he so easily falls in love. But it's convincing her and keeping her that's going to be the problem for this drool-worthy loveable hero who has never had to work for it before.

Danielle Ashley has had a bitter childhood of abandonment and neglect by her absentee parents - her Baseball Star Father and his devoted wife/her Mother so Danielle vows she will never fall into the trap of loving a sportsman who would constantly be away and will choose his sport's career over family life every single time. Nope, no way, not ever.. then she sees charismatic Lincoln Landry and her push/pull riot of emotions start because their chemistry is undeniable, the sex is fantastic and Lincoln could be everything she ever wanted. But Lincoln's at the top of his game, is only off because of a shoulder injury which is slowly healing and his contract is coming up for renewal so their future together is looking more and more doubtful - and nobody could've foreseen the cruel twist of fate.

Apart from the storyline which is filled with loveable characters, sexy times that make you swoon and easy banter between siblings, friends and lovers, the thing I love THE most about Adriana Locke's writing skills is the profound and very touching sentiments shared between lovers that tug at your emotions and leave you swooning for more. It's got a sweet Epilogue too. The dual POV narration was perfect thanks to Kai and Wen who each stick to their own genders voices and it gives the listen a more realistic natural flow.

Worth a credit? Yes absolutely - a very enjoyable character driven romance with relationship drama as two emotionally tortured lovers compromise to get their heart's desire. Ms Locke has already put the seeds in place within this listen for her next character to get their own book and I simply can't wait.

My Two Pennies

Just when you think you can't love the Landry Family anymore we get to see more of them and get to experience all that is Lincoln. I loved Barrett but oohwiii Lincoln is a whole other level. Him and Danielle are on fire and even through the tough times their connection is strong. I was giggling at times with the way Lincoln is and the way his mind works and body temp rising others. Such a beautiful story and to see Danielle stand up for herself and be that strong woman is perfect.

I JUST COULDN'T STOP IT.. & RARELY TRIED

JA Huss has weaved her magic again because she has delivered another unique and compelling story that was gripping, was filled with characters who were complex and multi layered and, at the end of the book, all you can do is sigh and bask in the pleasure of it all when a storyline reaches its conclusion.. after the suspense, emotional angst, thrills, chills, tears, twists, bloodshed and romance. But would you miss it?.. not a chance - because you know you're going to get your monies worth out of this remarkable clever clever gifted Author every single time. Do I wish I'd read about Sasha in Julie's Dirty, Dark and Deadly series or listened to 321 before this book?.. yes, I know it wouldn't of changed my 5 star glowing review of this awesome standalone book - but it may have given me a better insight into the Company and the backgrounds of the characters involved or their histories (shrug) I don't know.. but I'll definitely be finding out.

Sasha had been a child assassin for a manipulative shadow organization called the Company but now she's all grown up and is trying to carve out a new existence for herself and when FBI Agent Jax waylays her plans he gives Sasha something else to think about.. an alternative life. An addictive rollercoaster dual POV storyline that had me listening way way into the night as I struggled along with Sasha for answers, for the truth, for a HEA ending that would eventually come at a very sad cost.. but his sacrifice and clever orchestrations led to new beginnings for those left standing at the end of a bitter-sweet day. Good narration too.

Worth a credit? Yes - never doubt a JA Huss book to deliver much more than she promises.

Hooked from the get go!

J A you never disappoint me! I love love love Mr. Perfect and Ellie was such a funny, lovable, relatable heroine! The chemistry between these two is off the charts and I'm dying for Mr. Romantic on audible so I can continue the story!!! Please HURRY!

Great Story and Performance!

Mr. Perfect had a captivating plot that didn't waste anytime getting to the steamy scenes, and was packed full of humor, spice, and clever twists. While it's an instant love story, I enjoyed it! From the crazy texts, to the steamy sexapades, these characters had me cracking up, smiling, and rooting from them.

Rob and Ava did a fabulous job on the narration! I really liked how they portrayed the characters, and emotions.

J.A. Huss has got a creative, and wicked imagination, and it shows in her writing! I loved the bonus note from the author, and how she shared her writing process with her fans. Mr. Perfect was funny, steamy, direct, and a great escape! Well worth a credit!

Holy cow hot!

This audiobook was very sexy, funny and hot! The characters of Ellie and Mac were memorable and well written, while the plot is original. Great narration too!

Story takes some leaps for the imagination

Narrators were good but the story overall takes some giant leaps in believability. Not sure that I'm going to bother listening to the rest of the series.

Absolutely. It is a good story and the narrators do an excellent job bringing the story to life.

Which scene was your favorite?

There are some favorite scenes after I found out a non-fattening way to use butter, I love jealous Mac. It is early in their relationship, but Mac is already smitten.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

There are several laugh out loud moments. One of my favorite scenes is "Tampon!" There are also some good emotional moments that touch my heart.

I highly recommend Mr. Perfect. It is an all around good story with great character chemistry. A must listen.
