5 Easy Fortune Stars

So glad we got Lenas story!! I was wondering about her after I finished all the other characters.

I like that she had someone from her past come back into her life.

I really liked Mason and it was an interesting story. I love the ending my heart was so full.

Very much enjoyed the narration Zachary Webber made the last few books very worth it.

Enjoyable listen

I love this series!! The characters and the ambience are complete perfection. My only complaint is.. I feel I was a little short changed on this particular couple. It would have been better if the book were longer. I guess Kristen thought since this is a second chance romance we didn't need much of a back story. I really liked Lena's, character in Easy Magic and wished for a full length book about her. Still, I enjoyed this book and the narration is great!! Even a small glimpse in the lives of this heart warming wonderful family is worth a credit to me.

Loved it even more in audiobook

Easy Fortune is one amazing book full of love, treasures and passion. I read it when it was published and I am so happy to being able to listen to it in audio and fall in love again with Lina and Mason. This book is amazing. I wish it was longer and love them more and more.

This is a second chance romance. Lina and Mason dated six years ago but he left without giving explanation. Six years later he's back because his aunt died and asked her will be read in from of Mason and Lina or her fortune wouldn't be given to Mason. Despite Lina wasn't so sure about helping the man who broke her heart so many years ago, she agreed to do it anyway and they found an amazing treasure together: Their love back.

This story is amazing, sexy, romantic and full of lessons for life.

It is definitely suspenseful, the characters stay in character with the disability and there is romance and faith lessons. It was a book I will definitely re-read, like Karen Ball's Family Honor series, numerous times.

Eason Excels as Usual

Lynette Eason's a wonderful author..always 5stars all the way! She remains consistent once again while many Christian Fic. authors have begun to compromise. Eason is 1 author I've never hesitated to buy her work. Many times I was asking myself "Now why didn't he.." But Eason once again produces a great story while tying up all & any loose strings.

The narrator wasn't the worst I've heard. But she lacks that punch listeners know they can count on in Eason's writing. With another narrator this book may remain in my collection of "Eason audios"..every audio to date. As is..well, I'll let you decide.

Corny!!

I love when I get the opportunity to read or listen to a book that is not full of language that would make a Sailor blush or should be rated X from the explicit content. Unfortunately this book was the total extreme of the opposite. The the heroine was unrealistically independent (like a man) and the hero was as thoughtful as a women. I was totally grateful that they didn't hop into bed when all this danger surrounded them but it would have been more realistic for him to attempt to cross that invisible line and for her make that line clear by saying no. Good Christian guys are not totally safe from desires of the flesh and should be forgiven and strengthen through Christ when they fall short.

The bad guys in this story were first bumblers and then idiots which makes it hard to believe that they would be capable of grand scale fraud for any length of time. I'm sorry to say that this book was disappointing and I only finished it because I want to support Christian writers. I'm praying that Lynette Eason will start to write from a more realistic Christian perspective instead of the idealistic Christian perspective.

New author, great story!

This was the first book by this author that Ive listened to or read. This story is actually a book in a series about Australian biker MC and I enjoyed it a lot. Its also a ménage story, just FYI. The narration was good, I just had to get used to the accents. The story was about a girl with a past of sexual abuse who is at college and being tormented by a guy who is bullying her because she wont date him. Shes the sister of the MC presidents wife, so he sends two guys to her to straighten it out. They have both been in love with her for years, and she loves them too but is emotionally scared because of her past. The author gives us lots of drama, romance, action and sex. Very good book, now buying the rest of series in audiobook.

One of my favorite series

Let me start by saying I LOVE audiobooks. I have listened to almost 200.

I was very happy to see this when it was released. While I enjoyed this book (already read the series several times).

I think it would have been much better if they started with the first book. There is so much back story, it would be confusing to not know why Josie is scared of everyone. It doesn't get discussed until you're really into the story. If you knew the backstory, you would be fine.

The other thing I think would have made it better is to have a 2nd male narrator. This story is about 3 people..Josie, Caden, and Eli. The male narrator was used for both men. It was hard to tell who was "speaking" because of this.

The problem I had with the woman narrator is the fact that she spoke so slowly...I felt like pulling words out of her mouth.

Keep in mind this story takes place in Australia, so the narrators have an accent.

Great Book, Great Narration!!!

This is a new to me author but if all her work is this good I'll be happy to listen to many more of her audiobooks in the future. This book was a little dark but not as dark as you think while listening (sorry you probably have to read it to understand what I mean by that). Briar is a strong women who is accidentally brought into a world of the dark dangerous and she handles is as well as she can. Most female characters in captive books are really believable in the way they handle their situation but I thought the author did a great job at making Briar realistic. Lucas thought he knew what he was getting into with Briar but man he was wrong. His character was all over the place on my likable scale. My feelings about him changed about five times but in the end I understand why and that is great writing to me! The plot was thrilling, sexy and the twists made a good story great.

The narration is why I picked up this book to begin with. I am a huge fan of Erin Mallon and she was fantastic in this book. She is really amazing with stories that have high excitement and she has a perfect tummy tingling male voice too. Jason Clarke is also a favorite of mine, I love that when he narrates I completely forget who he is because all I hear is the character in the book not a narrator reading a story to me. This narration duo would make me try many many new authors because I know they can make even an ok book great. Thankfully this book was just as good as the narration!

AN INTENSE, ADDICTIVE & ABSOLUTELY PERFECT LISTEN

Man o man I've got one serious book hangover after finishing this intense story.. the plot line was riveting, the drama was nail biting, the suspense was intense, the multi-layered hero was deeply flawed yet definitely redeemable and the beautiful love story that developed brought out so many conflicting feels. I cautiously listened as, at the start, Ms McAdams cleaverly flipped between the dark scenes in the present and the light scenes of before the heroine's life-altering abduction.. and thankfully (for me) the story never got darkly disturbing or depraved.

Blair Rose came from money and was marrying into it too.. she was happy, excited, in love and very eager for her upcoming wedding in two weeks.. but the night she agreed to swap shifts would change her life completely. Kidnapped, auctioned and introduced to a secretive world of ownership, Blair sang.. she sang in helpless terror not knowing that it was her singing that'd first caught the interests of her handsome new owner who she later nicknamed the Devil. He would eventually become HER Devil but before then there was going to be a lot of challenges, tears, heartache, life-threatening situations, passion, pleasures, jaw-dropping twists and revelations.

Liked it more than I expected

I liked this book more than I thought I would. Id stopped reading the series after book 4 and didnt plan on picking it up again but Im glad that I did.

My only issue had to do with the female narrator - I liked her voice as Sam but really didnt care for her narration of the male characters (Mason, Logan, Nate, etc.). For the first time ever, I found Logan annoying and I really think its because of the way she did his voice. I thought that the male narrator did a great job of voicing Mason, though.

If you liked the first three books in the Fallen Crest series, I think youll probably enjoy this one.

I am so happy to be part of the Fallen Crest journey

Well. I'm not sure what to say about this! I've read each and every book in the Fallen Crest series, and loved them all. Fallen Crest Forever is possibly one of my favourites, I love how Sam and Mason have matured, and I love the fact hat I have been on their journey of discovery right alongside them. Mason, man's up and takes responsibility for his misdoings, and damn if I didn't fall in love with him even more. Sam comes into her own when she realises that not everyone is out to get her, and she finally decides what she wants out of life. I have to admit I was quite emotional towards the end, and more than a few tears were shed. As usual beautifully written by Tijan, I have loved every minute of this series and I am so happy to have been a part of the Fallen Crest journey. As per previous books in the series I have loved Graham and Saskia's narration. Just perfect. A full five stars from me.

Narrator was better

Story fabulous as always from Bella. This story was made better with the narrator performances. She was less 'breathy' and soap opera. Turned me off in past books however I love Bella books so I keep purchasing.

A LOL SWEET ROM/COM DOCUDRAMA

Well what you get with this first book in the successful writing duo's new docuseries are great characters, lol humor, easy-flowing quick-witted banter, good secondary characters, some quirky very open-minded parents, sizzling instant chemistry, sexy times, a hot and very sweet Dr. hero and a competent Nurse heroine. What you won't get is a down-to-earth believable storyline with lots of rollercoaster drama intrigue and suspense.. and, at the moment, I'm 100% happy with that.

Successful OB/GYN Dr. Will Cummings didn't know what he was getting himself into when he agreed to do the tv reality show.. but, as soon as it started to air, Will came face-to-face with the impact and damage selective editing/splicing brought. Because it'd instantly brought him fame alright.. the wrong sort of fame.. fame for his sex appeal, his smouldering winks at women, his many flirtations with females and his 'behind closed doors' antics. Now there are whispers and giggles from his staff and fangirl patients who can't wait to have the hot doctor between their all too willing thighs. However things are about to change for the good doctor because his new nurse hasn't seen the show, hasn't met him yet and hasn't labelled him Dr. Obscene.

Suprised how much I liked

I was able to get when it was a great whisper-sync deal and honestly was a bit turned off by the title. The story had more meat to it than the title suggested to me. I think the author could have done more with they mystery and stalking but I still liked what was there. The narrators were new; the male wasn't quite as good with the female voices but didn't turn me off. I would explore more from the author and narrators.

Gah! My heart

I read the book so it only made sense for me to get the audiobook. I knew that Ilsa wouldn't disappoint, I read and heard her previous books and loved them, so her choice for her narrators were spot on. Yvonne and Alastair's performance as Sunny and Max were believable and the chemistry was wow! Loved everything about this story!

Dark & heart-wrenching

I continue to love this series. I feel terrible for Nila & Jethro with the things they go through. Jethro can no longer hold back his truth from Nila & she continues to remain strong no matter what the Hawks throw at her. Both are nearing the end of their ropes but find strength in each other. I remain on the edge of my seat curious at to what else this family has up their sleeves in order to extract an ancient debt that should have been dropped centuries ago. The narrator's do an excellent job inflecting so much emotion into their reading it pulls you in making you feel for the characters.

Loved it! Amazing!

This series has been by far my favorite, and I've read/listened to many books. I've never experienced duet narration before and it just added to this amazing series.

Sometimes in a story there'll be two narrators, both male and female. You'd think that the female would voice the female characters and the male would voice the male characters. (Not trying to sound sexist. It's just what we're used to hearing, with women often having higher voices and men often having lower ones.)

So it gets kind of confusing when the female narrator voices both the male and female characters during the female character's pov, and when the male narrator voices both the male and female characters during the male character's pov. It gives each character two separate voices, that often sound so different, and it can be confusing.

However, this series doesn't do that, and I'm eternally grateful for it. This has been my first experience with back and forth narration. Will M. Watt only voices the male characters and Kylie C. Stewart only voices the female ones. It makes for a great reading experience and it's much more clean cut and realistic. Pepper Winters did an excellent job on this series and the narrators brought it to life in my mind. You should definitely check this series out. <3

Falling for her Captor

This was not what I expected. Olivia witnesses a murder and is capture by criminals. She is then put into sex slavery. Her captor, Kade is responsible for training her to be a sex slave. He says he doesn't want to hurt her but he clearly manipulates her into trusting him. Olivia is even aware that he's doing it but she still seeks his approval because he is her only ally. It is then revealed that Kade has some other responsibilities (No spoilers) and I found myself wondering how he was allowed to get to far in.

This is a really dark romance. I was almost argue that Olivia isn't in love but has Stockholm syndrome and Kade is infatuated with Olivia. The two don't really know each other. I think the title is accurate because he broke her like someone would break a wild horse. But at least he realizes that he doesn't deserve her. As much as I loved this dark and gritty story, I was kind od hoping that Olivia would move on and be happy without Kade. This is something I felt really emotionally invested in even though I disliked Kade.

I love Jacob Morgan, I wish we could have heard more from Kade. Muffy Newton really understood the characters and the story. The both gave solid performances.

Wild ride

Love stories aren't always hearts and flowers, sometimes they start with being abducted unto a sex slave trade.

It's true this story is unconventional but it was exciting, thrilling, scary, fun... and so much more. I loved every second that Willow Winters put into this book. I can't wait to listen to more of her audios.

Jacob Morgan and Muffy Newtown are ALWAYS a good idea for narrators. They are narration experts and I never have a bad word about either.

Honestly, the heroine seemed a bit to unrealistic and sometimes whiny. There didn't appear to be any reason for her to have "insta-love/lust" for him when she witnesses a murder and is kidnapped. Within minutes of a bullet to the head, by a man she does not know but obviously knows is not good, both is in shock and awe of him. What? Excellent storyline. The characters were very real. The dialogue between all characters flow together and the writing was graphic helping to visualize the story, especially The hot sex scenes. I read anything Willow Winters writes.

Down and dirty

This book was very different than most bad boy stories. Xxrated.
