Peace and positive mindset are so important. As for specific imagery, I included "healthy lifestyle suggestions" simply as suggestions. They are for those who wish them and for those who do not, that's fine too. I encourage you to take what you like and leave the rest. To all my sisters who are in treatment, I dedicate this guided imagery and to each and every one, I send this prayer:
May you feel wrapped in love and rapt in love. May that love work in your body and mind, bringing comfort, confidence, and healing. May you deeply relax and refresh, accepting the gifts of friends and the beloved, around you and within. good meditations.
Don't waste your money
Suffering from Cancer related PTSD? Don't waste your money on this CD. This CD is approximately 27 minutes, not worth the money when one calculates the cost per minute. Hair loss due to chemo? She says get a hat, scarf or wig. DUH? Having surgery? Tell all the cancer cells to move to surgery sight.
I wasted my money on this CD, I also wasted 27 minutes of my life listening to it.
Not what i expected!
I bought this CD based on previous positive reviews of the product. But when I listened to it, I was greatly disappointed. I was expecting a soothing narrative that will guide me in my healing meditation, step by step. In the initial part, it seems to be so - with the narrator, in her soothing voice, guiding one to relax progressively. But in the middle, when one has started to relax and conjuring peaceful and relaxing images, she started "lecturing" about what food to take, other actions to do when one has cancer. This so OUT OF PLACE! If she wanted to do this lecture, she should not have included it here. She could have written all her advice in a pamphlet to go with the CD, to be read by the customer, not not in the middle of the healing meditation. It disrupted my meditation and turned me off completely from continuing with the meditation process itself. I feel I wasted my money on this CD. I never listened to it again. I hope the author takes note of this and improve her product, if she really wants to help cancer patients.
