For novices only

If these are the toughest interview questions you ever get, then you probably haven't gone very far.

Strengths and weaknesses, tell me about yourself, where do you see yourself in five years, these are the types of basic questions that get discussed.

If you have never been to an interview before, then this might be useful; however, all of this information is available for free on many websites.

Disappointing.

Impressively bad

Please do not waste your time with this audiobook. As others have noted, the questions are in no way tough or different from what you'll find anywhere else.

However, note that his answers are also bad; Portney sounds nervous and unsettled (terrible to listen to- i wish the sound sample had his laugh) and is extremely repetitive. This means that A) much of the meager 1 and a quarter hour is wasted B) many sample answers are circular and sound poorly thought out.

I went to his website and couldn't even find a resume, cv or employment history: very suspicious. Also, it seems like it was written by a six-year-old.

In summary, just because you confidently paste your name and face all over your work doesn't mean you are an authority. Pull the other one, Portney.

Impressive!

I love the way the author narrates his own book. He does such a great way of presenting the material that its more like he is naturally talking to you directly and not just reading from a book. Ive read and listened to many books on this subject but I was very impressed by this author/narrator. Just a great book on the subject... clear, concise and very easy to comprehend.

Definitely recommend this for young people looking for some motivation

I bought this book for my 20 year old nephew who was having trouble finding his way to adult-hood. He was working part-time, living with his grandparents and had no initiative whatsoever and instead had this horrible sense of entitlement. Wasn't sure if he'd actually read the book or take it seriously or not, but he did! I read the book before giving it to him so that we could discuss it and we recently met and to my surprise he was almost finished reading the book and had a ton of post-its sticking out and highlights throughout the book, as well as places he had actually filled in goals and such. He says that the book gave him the kick he needed to get off his butt and start working toward actually becoming an adult and he now realizes that he has to actually work for it and not expect it to just land in his lap. He's since met with a local college to get his general courses started and has a goal to become a teacher, coach, and family man (down the road). The book is not too long and is filled with real life experiences from a variety of people that help get through to the younger adults.

The Perfect Twenty-something Gift

If you're looking for a motivational gift for yourself or another twenty-something in your life that is stuck or overwhelmed with life, work or relationships, this book is for you. You don't even need to be twenty something. I'm certainly not, and I found this book incredible.

Extremely Fun & Positive

I really enjoyed the narration in this audio book - the author is quite enthusiastic, inflecting excitement into the reading of the book.

There are some good concepts explained and you are invited to stop frequently throughout the book to perform exercises applying the concepts presented to your particular selling situation.

It's earned a permanent place on my MP3 player not only for the content but also for it's ability to provide exciting, positive and motivational support to the sales professional.

Crazy title aside, I can't understand why this book isn't an Audible best seller!

Best of Class, period!

I just paused this audio book to come online and write a review for it. Mike deserves it because he's done a remarkable job. This program is better by far than any other sales program or book I've studied, and I've studied many. Do what he tells you to do and I promise you'll be a much better salesperson. Probably the best Sales Book I have heard

This book covers real life sales applications - overall a real winner. If you are Selling in the trenches you need to listen to this book first.

A must have for any salesperson

This is a great book and I highly recommend it. I learned so many important insights to how to approach potential customers. I would say that if you had to choose one sales book - this one would be it.

Great structure for presenting

If you're looking for the structure of how to present well, this will be great for you. It's not about charisma, rhetoric or the softer skills in presenting, however it is really useful for creating the bones of your presention, especially if you've got so much to talk about you don't know where to start - or if you don't have much to talk about and can't think of how to fill in your 30minutes in the spotlight.

Avoid

The narration is bland and boring, at points of describing complicated strings of commands in the course material it sounds like a boring robot reading out of the most boring book ever written. DO NOT BUY!

Excellent

This is an excellent listen for anyone wanting a better understanding of user, group and computer management in Active Directory. I have found things that have helped me answer many questions and gained a better understanding of how things work.

It's written like all Stanek's others to deliver what I needed and focus on the core. It's very clearly written, easy to understand. Like it says at the beginning though, you need to listen several times and practice what you've learned to master the topic. Highly recommend this and all Stanek's others.

Worst narration ever

This is undoubtedly the worst narration I've ever heard. Ron Knowles sounds like Microsoft Sam, or some version of that robotic, droning voice. Horrible. Don't believe me? Then buy it. You WILL be kicking yourself.

Technical books like this deserve to be read by someone with an understanding and passion for the subject matter. The Knowles treatment is sorely lacking. The book sounds as though it were read by a person with little understanding of this subject matter. Be warned.

Great book

Tony hit on and expanded a very misunderstood and often over looked point, we don't treat people the way they want to be treated. I found the book insightful and inspiring. Since I have ajusted my thinking because of the information in the audio I have seen some remarkable turn arounds. I recommend it.
