Contagious
Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
Just started listening but Johns enthusiasm is contagious and uplifting. There seems to be a lot of value added with online content.
How could the performance have been better?
Performance is a bit rough in places. Rehearsal or regaling editing could have been improved.

I am glad I chose to listen to the book first because it is like going to hear John speak, which is effective for me. He is a good storyteller and makes the listener feel like achieving a life that is defined by yourself is totally possible.
Novice recording
John Nemo is simply using quotes and examples from previous tv shows and movies. He started with a personal story, but doesn't continue with that story.
they say if you can't say something nice.....
So, they say if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all.... I'll leave it at that.
But I will say, he should have hired a professional narrator. it's painful to listen to. lots of Jesus stuff and plugs for his website too.

Awesome stories...John takes a very broad topic of personal empowerment and makes it stick with memorable stories that bring the principles to life. You feel like you are talking with an old friend while John recounts stories of growing up and the experiences that have shaped him to live in courage and stand in his calling to help people gain clarity on their passions and turn it into plan to profit. If you've known you have a very big mission to fulfill inside of you & even if you haven't found that mission this is must read to strengthen your resolve to deliver your purpose and mission to the world. If you are not Christian and are turned off by references to Jesus Christ - This book is NOT for you...yet if you open to the Principles that Jesus stood for you will enjoy the references made throughout the book. John makes his Christian beliefs and convictions very clear to readers. He walks his talk about the principles he teaches you in the book, which will make this an easy book to consume and begin to implement.
