Good reading book. Not much of a story.

Still a good read for a beginner

This book is similar to Let's Sell It, if you have the Berenstain Bears Phonics. This book adds in a little more detail that the phonic book doesn't. Still a good read for a beginner.

Berenstain Bears' Class Trip-I Can Read Book

Since my grandson is a Berenstain Bears fan and is just learning how to read, this book was a bit hit. I would definitely recommend it.

Great book to read for the kids!

A HIT with a 5-year old new reader

I got my 5 year old niece a bunch of these Berenstein books for Christmas and she LOVES them! She can read them by herself, which gives her such a sense of pride, and she told her mother that she loved the stories. I would definitely buy more of these.

Perfect for ages 5-8!

Grandson approved!

Though he is only 3 years old, my grandson absolutely loves this book (and all Berenstain Bears books)! My grandson takes monthly field trips at day care on "the big yellow bus" so this book held definite appeal to him. The length of the book is just right, it is easy for me to read to him (not too "wordy") and the pictures are enjoyable for him to look at. I'm certain for an early reader this book would be very easy to read and understand. I would highly recommend it.

Well written, but a bit heavy handed

The story was cute and well written for the most part, but it was definitely a Christian book, which would probably be fine if your family is Christian, but many many families are not, and dont really want their kids reading/listening to a book that is. It would have been nice to have known that ahead of time.

Kids very happy with this one.

I bought this book to use for my kindergarten library classes in October. They enjoyed the story and loves the illustrations! Scaredy-Cat is my new Fall favorite. His adventures kept my students laughing and wanting more!

This is a fun and whimsical book with hilarious illustrations and a witty plot. Our son loves it. Its also much cheaper here than locally.

Hysterical and awesome illustrations

I cannot help but get a kick out of Gerald and Piggie, and the humor in the book was right up my ally as the two friends plan for a road trip. Mo Willems makes great use of his illustration and patch-in skills. The story is simple and hilarious, the reading level with decodable words and sight words great for young readers (yeah, I'm a teacher), and it's another great adventure of the two friends.

How many good stories involve a Naked Mole Rat? I pair this book with the Disney song, Naked Mole Rat. I play the song while I show pictures of a real mole rat. I read both the nonfiction book and this picture book to the class- discussing features of both. Then the students complete and clothe a drawing of a naked mole rat. This is a fun lesson.

Let's Go for a Drive is my daughter's favorite of all the Elephant & Piggie books! We have checked out nearly all of them from our local library and this one is the one my daughter has asked for enough that we decided to buy it. Mo Willems writes such wonderful children's books! Remarkably, we have not grown tired of reading Elephant & Piggie yet.

It is a really funny and cute book. WE are all excited to read this series maks my 5 year old daughter very motivated to read and we all love these books. Once she started teafing these her reading skills have improved dramatically the expressions on piggie and elephant! !!!!!!!!!

Must Read! (ALL THREE)

We just got all three of these from Amazon today. They were great books that my almost 7 and almost 4 year olds both loved. We enjoy Elephant and Piggie, as well as the Pigeon books, and I loved spotty each of the other characters in these books. The third Knuffle book really caught me at the end. I loved reading them! Mo Willems is a great author!
