Magical Moments

The King - named Pador is known for his contagious laughter, the Queen - named Sonya is known for her flowing hair and beauty, and the Prince named Verdon is known for his bravery, love and compassion.

The bravest knight of the Kingdom - Talon - was denied a part of the kingdom and began to slander the King. Two children, Thomas and Anna, were adopted into the kingdom. Talon captured the children, betrayed their trust and caused the children to open special lockets filled with the laughter of the King. Later the children are rescued and Talon is slain by Verdon. The Kingdom is restored again. It is a most delightful story of love and devote in a magical world.

Highly Recommend!

Loved the booked, especially how the author brought values and morality into an elegant story. Excited to read it to my child...I also got the audio version which I would recommend! The narrator is amazing!

This book will encourage kids to share

One of the greatest teaching problems that parents have is how to teach their kids to share. This book will help. It shows the impact that the failure to share has on friends and what happens when the selfish child learns to share.

Ernie the elephant is small but his friend Martin the mouse is even smaller. The two love to play together. Martin borrows many toys from Ernie but never lends him anything. One day Ernie asks to borrow a toy action figure for a week but Martin refuses. Ernie cries and walks away. Martin asks his mother what he did wrong, she tells him, and he learns.

Five Stars

Great book for 3 and 4 year old grandson's who both have 18 month old siblings.

And I'd like to think it's just a misprint on the cover ...

Although Amazon says Ernie and Martin LEARN to share, please note the picture where it says LEARNS to share! That's right -- incorrect grammar to read to your toddlers. And I'd like to think it's just a misprint on the cover -- but these problems persist inside the book as well. Story is ok, printing is horrible.

Childhood Favorite Revisited

I loved rediscovering books that I loved as a child. I'm always worried that they won't stand up to my memory. This book was just as excellent revisited as it was when I was a child. I grew up around horses and love them so much, so a book from a perspective of a horse is right up my alley. The fact that it is amazingly well written means it stands the test of time and can span all ages. The narrator did such an excellent job of bringing the story to life. I couldn't be happier.

The story is a delight, perfect for all ages (though forewarning, the word "ejaculate" is frequently used innocently and antiquatedly in place of the word "exclaim"). I enjoyed the narrator's performance, especially Nancy's voice.

This review is specifically made for Bronies and Pegasisters. Iâve done other extensive reviews on G.M Berrowâs other pony books. I hope to do justice for Rainbow Dash and her book.

Rainbow Dash Background:

Ahh, Rainbow Dash arguably the most badass pony of all of Equestria, the pony whoâs practical middle name is Danger should give you heads up that this pony means business. Well, if you count the latest episode she has another middle name responsibility giving her full name as âRainbow Danger Responsibility Dashâ now thatâs a name! She is herald as a fandom symbol and is arguably the most popular among both guys and girls [cue best pony debate XD]. She is ponyvilleâs resident practical, sports freak, prankster gal.

Overall Summary [ Straight to the Point] -

We all know Rainbow Dash is a huge fan of the Daring Doâs adventure books. Ever since Twilight Sparkle introduced her to the series during her hospitalization due to a broken wing after a aerial trick mishap, RD has become a bonfide, legit fangirl for the whole series beating Twilight Sparkle in geekiness and egghead cred. [Thatâs quite a feat!] Now the story, G.M Berrow has written centers around Rainbow Dash proving to everypony that the tricks Daring Do performs in her books are totally doable and with her awesomeness she would prove it. In order to do so Rainbow Dash requests everypony to come up with dares either from their own imaginings or from the book.

Not as good as the original book

We love the original Little Blue Truck book so we were excited to try this one. It's cute but the original is better. I feel like the rhyming doesn't flow as smoothly in this one. And apparently the animals in the original are what my toddler loves. So we still read this one plenty but like the original book most!

Great little book for night time or day time reading.

Both of my daughters (2 yr olds) enjoy this book. It tries to teach a good lesson, similar to the first book. The illustrations are great, and there are plenty of things to point out and ask what they are so that your children learn things outside of what the book/story is trying to teach them.

Delightful character, excellent book

Little Blue Truck took us through the country, and now Little Blue Truck Leads the Way takes us from farm to city. My grandson loves it, and asks for it every time I go to visit. I "edit" somewhat when I'm reading it aloud because his parents and I don't like him to hear expressions like "Move it, Shorty!" (that becomes versions of "Please move faster; I'm in a hurry"). But that's minor, really. The message in both books is wonderful: Be generous and considerate, and reap the benefit of working together. The illustrations are first-rate, with a lot of detail to explore, including several different kinds of vehicles and stores and tall buildings, and many different kinds of people on the street. The storyline is about a tangle of fast-moving traffic as Little Blue Truck comes into town with a load of lettuce to sell, and the mayor's limousine breaking down in the middle of it. So, Little Blue to the rescue, with a platform for the mayor and a very helpful suggestion endorsed by His Honor. Little Blue Truck has become a classic, well-loved character in our family.

Purchased as a gift for my nephews birthday. He's obsessed with trucks and loved the original Little Blue Truck book. This book is very cute and a good story. The illustrations are just kinda difficult to really fully see on some pages, as the scene was split onto different pages with some car being split into both. The illustrations in the first book were much better. But this book is still a great gift.

Wonderful children's book.

This is my son's favorite story from his favorite series. If you haven't read the little blue truck stories, give them a try! The illustrations are lovely, it has a good rhyme scheme and a good message.

Solid reading of a great book

One of my favorite books. Had to get an audio version. Enjoyed it, and would recommend this one, although I may look for a version with a stellar narrator.

Delightful Story, Rich Language, Beautiful Narration

I was blown away by the quality of narration, the beautiful, rich language and the delightful characters of Rat, Mole, Badger and the whole gang. Great listen for adults & children. Our family of 5 (children 10 months, 5 & 7 years) enjoyed listening to it at meal times. I highly recommend it to others!

Fantastic

What did you like best about this story?

I have loved this book since it was read aloud to me as a child. This reading was superb, especially Peter Batchelor's voice for Mr. Toad. I was nearly in tears every time Mr. Toad was on the scene.
