which I like because that doesn't happen a lot to me

This book is a sci-fi thriller, fantasy. The author D.M. Gregg goes in directions I didn't expect, which I like because that doesn't happen a lot to me. Without giving the story away ,It's dark in some parts and hopeful in others. It's a war between good and evil. The fantasy aspect of the book brings humor and scary other world beings , but there is so much more. The main characters Midnight, Ghost Kitty and Roedee are learning as they go and in doing so, they bring you along for the ride. I would recommend this book to parents that want a book the kids can read without the language some books have. I think adults will like it too. I can't wait to read the sequel as it had quite a cliffhanger .

It Came Upon a Midnight Clear

This wonderful book was a joyous romp from beginning to end! Whether you are 9 or 90 it will keep you entertained entirely with its many twists and turns. If you are looking for a blend of fantasy and adventure led by an unlikely trio of animal superheroes, you will find yourself continually amused by their antics, the uniqueness of their individual personalities and the unusual concept of how the author plays good against evil. I highly recommend "It Came Upon a Midnight Clear" as a "must read" to all parents or anyone who wishes to share postive messages with the youth of America. Isn't it time we had a book for our young adults that will leave them with a feeling of contentment and not contention? But, I do have one lingering question for the author. When can I get my hands on the sequel "Midnight's Ghost Riders?"
