This Book Helped Me Deal With Depression Better
This book brought a lot of clarity into my mind about depression. I am confident that I've been struggling with situational depression since reading this Kindle book. I have started to do some of the things this book suggests for dealing with depression, and they seem to be helping. One of the main things I've done is started connecting with people more. I didn't realize it until I read this book that I've been isolating from people. I joined a gym (the YMCA) and have started attending a support group for people who think they might be depressed. I also have started going to my church regularly again. I am grateful to this author for bringing some positive direction into my life. I recently went through a breakup and have been really feeling sad. I am not the kind of person who suffers with depression all of the time. I am confident that I will get better, it's just a matter of time I'm sure. In any event, the tips in this book for overcoming depression have helped me.
Great Book On Coping With Situational Depression!!
I know all too well about situational depression. I have suffered it on more than one occasion in my life, and just wasn't aware I was suffering from it. Situational depressions come when something traumatic happens to someone. I went through a very long spell after having to make a spur of the minute move across country to basically start my life over. But it can be triggered by many different traumas like divorce, unemployment, death or any kind of traumatic event.
This book covers symptoms of situational depressing. I had quite a few of those. I was crying all the time, overeating, nervous all the time, couldn't sleep and just felt exhausted all the time. This book gave good advice on how to help cope with the depression such as having a support system and accepting your feelings.
