A comedic spiritual journey leading through Hell to Heaven. Following his divorce, Cris looks for solace in all the wrong places but finally hits the Cosmic Jackpot!

Cris is an explorer of psychic arenas and a cosmonaut of inner space, so join him if you dare but hang on to your Halo, the ride gets wild.

If, like myself, you're a bit light in the "spiritual enlightenment" area, you may find parts of this book a bit hard to believe. Having said that, it's entertainingly written and eventful as all hell...perhaps a little TOO eventful by the end, haha, but it's definitely more worthy of your time than the latest Michael Bay "blockbuster". I suspect a little "artistic license" has been employed here and there, perhaps partly to protect the innocent, but that all seems in keeping with the relatively light-hearted spirit of the whole exercise. It's certainly a wild and woolly journey into places where few dare to tread. Set forth with an open mind, and you just may enjoy.
Fearlessly honest, fascinatingly descriptive personal experience with an invitation for all....
Cris' second offering plumbs deeper than his first memoir "Bex, Drugs n Rock and Roll". This is Cris making sense of all his experience. He is fearless when describing raw emotion and no doubt his effort was cathartic. We, the reader, are invited to know his painful reality of unexpected divorce then partner him on a spiritual discovery of further enlightenment, and ultimately, a kind of healing. Cris describes fascinating parallel dimensions with the clarity and candour of one who if not personally experienced these sensations, then exhibits a magical imagination. The ultimate expression of this for me is Cris using a kaleidoscope of poetic language spun direct from his heart, in the chapter "Astral Ashram". We are challenged to experience these wonders for ourselves, Cris explains all we must do is start our own personal journey. A fascinating read, one which I would thoroughly recommend.... Five Stars...
A special tale by a very good man.
Upfront information, I have known Cris for a long time, and I am mentioned in the book. Putting that to one side the book has a lot to recommend it. Part biography, part spiritual journey, all full of wonder.
The bad stuff, Cris needs a proof-reader. Breath and breathe are different words and there are errors throughout the book, not a lot, but enough to annoy someone as uptight as me. Cris also likes to break the fourth wall a little too much for my taste, but most of the asides are relevant and important.
The good stuff, all the rest. The story is gripping and moving.
