A new place on my to visit list

I do like to travel but have not considered putting South Africa on my list of place I want to someday visit. Iâm changing my mind about the place. I knew very little about the place except for Apartheid and the birthplace of Nelson Mandela but I have not because of this book placed Cape Town on it. I didnât realize it was considered arguable the most beautiful city in the world. Gary Jones, the author includes many, many links in this travel book and pictures of the beach along with links to maps. Restaurants are listed, coffee shops, bars and clubs, hotels, shopping, and some of the interesting towns in the Cape Town area.

There are nine areas covered in the book which cover such things as weather and safety, lots of links to maps, etc and Cape Town is just one of the areas that resonated with me personally.

After reading this book, I am ready to book a flight to South Africa!

I loved this book on multiple levels. It is filled with beautiful pictures from South Africa. This magical and mystical land is amazing. I haven't ever visited, but checked out this book because I wanted to know more and after previewing the book I could see it would be perfect to learn more. It covers the history of South Africa and the issues they have faced. It also shows you things you aren't going to want to miss when traveling around the country. I can't wait to travel there!

Great layout

This book covered each territory and hot linked the web sites of key sites, hotels, etc. I would have liked a little more info on the top things to do in each area.

Great Information, But Not A Complete Traveller's Guide

Great information on the main sites to visit in South Africa. However, I wish the book would have had more practical information, such as items/clothing to take and more information on possible hidden issues such as incompatible electrical outlets for some travelers like Americans.

Amazing travel guidebook with Good detailed guides & info.

Oh, at last I got a detailed travel guidebook to know more about Rajasthan. I was so curious to know about this beautiful place because I heard few things about that place from my neighbor. Anyways, now I already knew all the things about Rajasthan from this book and I am really pleased by reading it & knowing all these things.

Throughout this read I have come to know various info about Rajasthan like: (a) best places there where we can visit in Rajasthan, (b) best hotels info with all details of cost, (c) best forts & museums, and much more things. The author has done an amazing job and showed all the info briefly. Overall, I found this travel guidebook so amazing and definitely like to suggest it all travelers, whose want to go Rajasthan. Great product

I had a relative that wanted a travel guide of Rajasthan. After researching, as well as skimming through this at a local book store, this book appeared to be the best choice. It seems to be very comprehensive, and contain a lot of informative information. When he received it, he said it looked like it would be very useful and beneficial.

Adventurous Travel Guide

Adventurous Guide into this cradle of Civilizations, History, Colors and Landscapes. I was recommended to go on a longer trip here by a friend who was traveling there. I must say after reading all this I just want to book that flight thanks

An echanting travel through Rajasthan.

This guide is colorful and exciting to read. The information is well organized and there are even sample itineraries at the beginning of the book. This was very helpful as we were only traveling to a partial region of India and didn't want to carry around the entire India guidebook.it provided the insight and direction we needed to give us the confidence to travel in this enchanting country. One more destination off the Bucket List.

I think the information was useful and very informative. Many things I wondered about were addressed. I found this book to be an easy read, full of good advice and useful information, especially for those traveling to Rajasthan alone or for the first-time.

great book guide to people who wants to travel in canada

LOVED this book, read it almost in one sitting and this book is an excellent choice if you want to get an overview of what's to see in Canada and where the different sites are located and the book's innumerable photographs are very pretty, but to my mind, its standout feature is its many maps, which give an excellent idea of the layout of cities and areas and where the sites of interest are in relation to each other and I recommend this highly, and not only for Canadians. Most Americans would both enjoy and benefit greatly from the references to Canadian history which, I am sure, would be their first introduction to how things happened just to the North of our common border.

This author is the most narcissistic ever.

If you want to learn about an up coming cruise. Forget about it! All this author wants to talk about is how she gets the VIP treatment. And how special her planning is no instruction on how you could plan your own!

A 3 part planning adventure

I received this book for free in return for my review. However, that being said, this is a fun romp through the Mediterranean on a cruise ship. It's important to realize that this book is written in 3 parts: before planning, on the boat, and additional tips you should know. It is helpful regardless of whether you are a newbie cruiser or a seasoned cruiser. It is very descriptive of the process and blunt in it's honesty about what worked and what didn't. A very enjoyable listen.
