A Fantastically Fun Book

This entertaining book is number five in the Smart Artt Early Learning Series and as itâs for an older group of children, it shines with new and advanced items for the young one to absorb. The storyline is interesting and on target for the age stage of the child. The story begins with Smart Artt having a book about the circus where he recognized all the animals when his grandfather reads it to him. A wonderful day is planned to visit the circus since it is in town. There is disappointment when they arrive and see the circus is closed, but that doesnât stop Smart Arttâs clever actions mixed with a slight bit of chaos to turn things around. Youâll have to read the book to find out exactly what Smart Artt does to make everything right. The artwork is advanced in structure and color, each depicting the storyline and capturing the essence of silliness and brilliance throughout. Kids will certainly enjoy this book from cover to cover whether itâs read to them or theyâre able to read it on their own.

Cute and colorful!

Things are not quite right at the circus. Smart Artt makes a new friend. Can Smart and his new friend save the day? Nice illustrations accompany this fast paced story.

Smart Artt saves the day again! And proves his wit is truly helpful!

As Smart Artt grows up, his adventures become more and more exciting and unique. And help impress upon both child and parent readers, that childhood can and should be a time of new excitement that is also a fun learning process. Who can deny the sheer joy of attending a circus for the first time? As usual, Artt not only attends, but becomes an active participant in his first circus experience. As he engages with a variety of animals, he uses his wit to fix problems that would challenge a child who's parents had not worked with him to develop his outlook and abilities. Smart Art never sets out on adventures for the sheer purpose of mischief, but mainly to be helpful. And by doing so, sets a splendid example for children who will read about him and view him as their friend. Not to be overlooked in this book series is the fantastic work of the illustrator, Diana M. Hernández, who brings each new experience in Smart Artt's life alive in such a poignant and precise way.

Dorothea und Gretchen Wild, die Geschwister Hassenpflug und Haxthausen, Jenny Droste Hülshoff und Dorothea Viehmann usw.: Es waren überwiegend Frauen, die den Grimms die Märchen zutrugen - jedoch nicht nur. Ebenso waren für die weitere Ausgestaltung in der Folge der Grimm'schen Ausgaben von 1812 bis 1857 die Erzählungen "Der Fischer und seine Frau" und "Der Machandelboom", die der früh verstorbene Maler Philipp Otto Runge schon fünf Jahre früher an Clemens Brentano und Achim von Arnim als seinen Beitrag zur Sammlung für "Des Knaben Wunderhorn" gesandt hatte, als Vorbild für eine gelungene Literarisierung von erzählter Volksliteratur von großer Bedeutung.

Sowohl Brentano als auch Achim von Arnim, der im Jahre 1812 die Grimms zur ersten Ausgabe ermutigte, führte die Niederschriften von Runge als vorbildlich an: "Warum die Sachen nicht so gut erzählen, als die Runge'schen erzählt sind? Sie sind in ihrer Gattung vollkommen." (Brentano in einem Brief an von Arnim Anfang 1813)
