This audiobook describes in plain terms our climate predicament and brings news of exciting tools in the making that could help us avoid a climatic disaster.

If we succeed at Paris, forging a new era of international political cooperation in the fight against a warming planet, it is possible that the next decade will astonish us in the solutions that we discover to safeguard our planet for our grandchildren and their grandchildren.

Tim summed it up in the last chapters when he said that the younger generation have taken the decision about CC away from the older skeptics.

Exhilarating to be listening to solutions (ones that could be implemented) instead of being ground down with all the problems.

    Critic Reviews:
"[Wallace J. Nichols], more Keanu Reeves in his surf-god pomp than lab-bound scientist - is the very embodiment of his theme...confiding, rhetorical, blissed-out, the writing seems to emerge from one of the flotation tanks Nichols uses to seek out his inner fish.... The tone is that of an extended Ted talk...at the heart of Nichols's book are real revelations." (Philip Hoare, Guardian)

    Truly a fine work
Wonderful, it answer some of the questions I needed to understand my feelings.
    Four Stars
    Very complete!
most of it reads like filler. very little new information or perspective
the book is very disappointing; most of it reads like filler. very little new information or perspective.
Outstanding... A must read! Get Your Blue Mind On!
Love this book (bought hardback AND ebook and cannot wait for audio version to be available in UK). It is hugely insightful and provides a glimpse into how and why we feel so much more "at home" by, in and on water. I am excited to see where the next chapter of Dr Nichols work takes us... Opening with wise words from J. Cousteau and closing with a compelling invitation from
Dr Nichols to simply "get in the water..." This book can most definitely swim and like water through cracks in the earth it's ideas have the power to be truly & positively pervasive of our hearts and minds. It is both artful and scientific, I hope to see it make it's way into the hands & lives of all who value ecology and wellbeing of self, others and our blue planet.
