This book is a gem!

In less than 100 pages, this author has distilled a lifetime of learning. In prose that is accessible, engaging and never preachy, she recounts her personal journey to discovering that life doesn't have to be merely fine. Rather, dreams large and small can be realized by rejecting illusory quick fixes in favor of making the choices required to achieve those dreams. If you have friends stuck in the rut of "could have, should have," this book is the perfect gift for them (or you)!

A Must Read!!

As soon as I saw the book cover, I knew I would love this book. As a mom & business owner who often feels frustrated at myself, I was drawn to the title and cover photo. I couldn't put it down, honestly. The author did a great job telling her story in 'bite size piece' life lessons that were easily digestible. I had a few 'a ha' moments, some tears and a lot of laughs. The size of the book is perfect and you can get through it with ease. I think this is a 'must read' for all moms. If someone bought this for me as a gift during 1 of my stressful moments, I think I would cry happy tears! If you want to feel encouraged and empowered, as well as reinforcement that you're not alone in your experiences, this book is for you. This book is practical and powerful, with great tips to apply to my life moving forward, as well as great resources that can help me along my journey.

Easy quick read

Easy quick read, only 100 pages but jam packed. Loved this book, found it so relatable as a wife and a mother. Always on the go, to do lists about my to do lists. This book made me smile and so enjoyed every word. Can't wait to see what Wendy Elover writes next. For me the last three years have been one of finding myself, embracing my inner strengths and helping others with theirs. So the concept of Happy over Perfect is what I strive for everyday. If you only have time for one book this whole year in your busy schedule. You need this book.

Mindset exercises we can all use

It does take more than 21 days to create a habit. Same goes with the principles of this book as it offers 30 days to develop and master helpful habits. A lot of it involves meditation. I understand the reason for that even more after reading this. Indeed, much of how we improve our mindset involves meditation. These daily exercises can be done by practically anyone.
