Definitely worth it

Would you listen to It's Not About the Tights again? Why?

I will listen to this book again because it's not just a few good ideas padded out with waffle and dull repetition like a lot of books in this genre. It's fast-paced and has a lot of wisdom. It's kind of like an energetic meditation rather than just a book. There are messages in it that I need and want to hear over and over. I'm probably not alone there. It's a very uplifting book.

What does Chris Brogan bring to the story that you wouldnt experience if you had only read the book?

Chris Brogan is entertaining. That he writes with same voice that he speaks is apparent. There are a few extra bits in the audio book it seems.

I wish I had this book 10 years ago

I have mild OCD but mostly panic attacks and anxiety. I really loved Joey's other books and non duality so I said: why not give this one a try....

I am very happy with this book. I started doing the exercises and I already feel a great relief....

Of course it will take more time and practice but since I tried so many other things I can already see that this is working great for me.

You can benefit from this book and apply the technics even if you are not into non duality because this book is about curing the problem and technics that will take you to direct solution, it's not about philosophy...

it will take some work to cure the problem but the Technics work (for me anyway...) I already feel a huge relief and the best part is: it's simple

Refreshing clarity and hope applied to a stigmatized and misunderstood subject

"The entire topic of obsessions and compulsions, including their clinical description as OCD, an "illness", is so thoroughly misunderstood that it is staggering! I found valuable information in this book. If you or anyone you knows suffers from OCD, I would read this book. Thanks to the author for sharing his experience.

I liked reading the book, i could relate so much to this book, he spoke my" langauge" it felt like the speaker was me. It gave me a bit better hope on channelling direct experience. I understand that what he js saying can not be put into words, but it seems he gave a good attempt., and much more realistic and detailed than others explaining the same thing

Enjoyable and Personalized Story of Creativity

What did you like best about Flourish? What did you like least?

I liked how the story was personalized and how the author encourages all of us to pursue our creative gifts. I enjoyed the author's use of her own song lyrics and experiences. I also enjoyed her narration.What I liked least was that there was no mention in the brief description that this was a Christian-themed book, with Bible references scattered throughout. This is probably no fault of the author, but something that Audible should fix. I am not of this faith, but a generally spiritual person, so I rolled with it. This should be disclosed in a more obvious way in the blurb.

Her authenticity really made the material come alive for me

After the author's father died, her father's best friend created a piece of art to honor him and allow everyone to remember him-I was very touched by the story

A Truly Beautiful Experience!

What made the experience of listening to Flourish the most enjoyable?

This was a beautiful book that the author Staci wrote and narrated for us. She shares many life lessons with us. I started to listen to the book once, than started it over when I realized what I was listening too. While your listening to the book you learn many different life changing lessons. That if a person takes each in one at a time. I believe could help change your life for the better. I know that I choose to do this. I've been having a rough time myself and got lost in the problems of my life. While listening to Staci I started to work through her ideas. A good part of her message is that Gods gifts should not be wasted. I agree with everything she wrote about not wasting what God has gifted each of us. We can find more fulfillment by using our God given talents and help uplift others along the way.

Such a nice read, I like the idea of the author for putting this into writing as it inspires others and be able to apply too.

This book is really a self reminder because sometimes we neglect to say thank you and feeling grateful on the things that we have in life. Also, it helps me appreciate how important a simple thank you is, and how anyone can gain expressing gratitude in everything that has been experienced. A sense of gratitude can bring a positive impact on individual lives not just me alone but also others. The author here introduced principles and exercise to help us learn implement gratitude in our life. Courage and perseverance to do it are in need in order to be continuously thankful. There are also inspiring quotes to ponder associated in every day of the exercise.

I like the idea of the author of putting this one into writing as it will inspire other individual be able to apply too. I have learned that there are a lot of benefits of practicing this. Among those are a more positive outlook in life, greater tendency to exercise, less physical complaints, more positivity and greater progress under personal goal. Such a nice read, highly recommend it.
