In this episode my friend and mentor Octavia Oliver shares her journey of rediscovering herself. Octavia talks about removing some of the harmful and hurtful labels placed on her in childhood and in adulthood. Octavia shares how she decided to stop trying to live up to the expectations of others and instead living up to the expectations of God. We go on a journey with Octavia from learning that she was different at a young age to embracing her natural hair and how all of that has been shaped by what she has learned in her relationship with God.
