Discussions about gender are omnipresent in society. As we continue to make progress, building our understanding of the human experience, it’s essential to keep these conversations going – particularly in the workplace. Gender identity and expression form a vital component in how people show up at work, and it’s important for organizations, leaders, and colleagues to be informed if we want to create inclusive work environments. But it can often be a tricky topic to navigate.

So to help us with this, we’re delighted to welcome lisa luxx to this week’s episode of The Shortlist. lisa is a poet and activist whose work has been broadcast on Channel 4, BBC Radio, and TEDx. We’ll be chatting about different forms of gender identity in the context of the workplace, examining gendered language, clothing, and policies, and also looking at expressions of allyship.
