Zachary Vorhies, former Google software engineer, whistleblower and patent holder, turned over a 950 page cache to the Department of Justice (Antitrust Division) in August/2019.

Vorhies claims his former company created algorithms to hide its political bias within artificial intelligence platforms – in effect targeting particular words, phrases and contexts to promote, alter, reference or manipulate perceptions of Internet content.

“The issue is that the free market has been distorted and what’s happened is that the distortion is so grotesque and the engineering is so repulsive, all we need to do is just expose what’s going on.  People can hear that it is bad but that can be bias.  But when they see what Google has actually written with the documents, this will actually be taught in universities of what totalitarian states can do with this type of capability.. The world that google is building is not a place I, or you or our children want to live in.””

He worked as a lecturer, and became Associate Dean of the Tel Aviv University Medical School. During the 1980s he presented the science-based television show Tatzpit with Yael Dan. He later became Director General of the Health Ministry. 

A member of the Labor Party, he was elected to the Knesset on its list in 1992. He chaired the Health Subcommittee. After leaving politics he returned to teaching at Tel Aviv University.

In 2011 founded N-UFiltration LTD, a company dedicated to recycling of hemodialisers for various industrial and agricultural usages, as well as for providing affordable drinking water. Lass is also involved in a philanthropic project in Africa, using his water filtration technology."  - wikipedia

Years before Dan Brown's research came to light in form of The Da Vinci Code, Oxford educated, British scholar, Tobias Churton, had long gained notoriety of his work within the Gnostic spirituality realm.   His 1987, 4-part drama documentary for Channel 4 (UK) television production, Gnostics, won the New York TV Festival Gold Award.
