The US Constitution and the inalienable human rights that it supports, are in grave danger. Born in Laramie, Wyoming, Kevin Shipp is a former high-ranking CIA agent. In 2020 he has no problem holding the people we allow to occupy (United States) government seats, accountable for what they represent - and how they may be corrupting and or perverting that privilege.
"The Shadow Government is a system that manipulates Washington, DC behind the scenes, that operates beyond the control of Congress, that even dictates the actions of the president and affects the daily lives of every American. It is real and has been growing in complexity for over sixty years. While the American people work long hours just to survive and make ends meet, the Shadow Government spends billions of dollars on secret operations, overthrowing governments and engages in covert wars that kill thousands – all without any vote or say by the American people; the people ... pay the taxes the Shadow Government uses to fund these operations... the people starve while the kings shower themselves in gold."
Growing-up in Virginia Kevin earned a BA in biology from Virginia Tech in Blacksburg. He later earned post graduate credentials at the Department of Defense Academy for Credibility Assessment in forensic psycho psychology and the detection of deception. During his career with the CIA, Kevin held several high-level positions. These include being assigned as a protective agent for the Director of Central Intelligence, Counter Terrorism Center officer and Chief of Training for the agency's Federal Police Force. He also supervised the Department of State Anti-Terrorism Assistance Program and managed the protective detail assigned to the president of Afghanistan following the US invasion of that country.
Shipp is recipient of 2 CIA Meritorious Unit Citations, 3 Exceptional Performance Awards and 1 Medallion for Overseas Covert Operations.
"The (US) government has created an intelligence apparatus so big not even Congress knows the extent of its operations - and which violates the 1st and 4th amendments as a matter of standard procedure."
- Kevin Shipp, August 7, 2013
He is author of, From the Company of Shadows - CIA Operations and the War on Terrorism.

Thom Hartmann is a progressive national and internationally syndicated talk show host. Talkers magazine named him America's most important progressive host and has named his show one of the top ten talk radio shows in the country every year for over a decade. A four-time recipient of the Project Censored Award, Hartmann is also a New York Times bestselling author of twenty-six books, translated into multiple languages.
Our vote is the single most important part of the American commons. And yet, according to this bestselling author and radio show host, there is a concerted and well-organized campaign in the United States today to prevent some people from voting while making it more and more convenient for others.
In this, the 3rd installment of a 10 book, "Hidden History" series, The Hidden History of the War on Voting: Who Stole Your Vote and How to Get It Back (Berrett-Koehler Publishers; February 11, 2020; https://hiddenhistorybooks.com/), Hartmann looks at how elites have long tried to disenfranchise citizens and take away this most important tool of our democracy—particularly people of color, women, and the poor.
In today’s America, only a slim majority of people register to vote, and large percentages of registered voters don’t even bother to show up. In 2016, Donald Trump was elected president by just 26 percent of eligible voters.
Unfortunately, this is not a bug in our system; it’s a feature. In The Hidden History of the War on Voting, Hartmann unveils the strategies and tactics that conservative elites in this country have used, from the foundation of the Electoral College to the latest voter ID laws, to protect their interests by preventing “the wrong people” from voting, while making it more convenient for the wealthy and white.
He also lays out a wide variety of simple, commonsense solutions that would both extend the right to vote to all Americans and create a system to ensure that elections result in outcomes that more closely align with the preferences of the American people. We the people can fight back and reclaim our right to rule through the ballot box, ensuring everyone has a voice in this democracy.
Sound like the Deep State? No doubt hidden mechanics globally are working to not only suppress your vote - but suppress your vary way of life. In his next installment Thom takes on the Hidden History of Monopolies and How Big Business Destroyed the American Dream. That would be you and the American middle class.

Audio clarification:
Lapse in thought... in this episode I mentioned 1883 as being a date associated to the US Constitution. 1783 was the intended date to be mentioned. Lapse. These dates clarify in relation to the July 4, 1776 "Declaration of Independence". The US Constitution was created September 17, 1787. It was presented on September 28, 1787. It was ratified June 21, 1788 and its effective date was: March 4, 1789.
