Discussions Podcast – The Distraction Network

Headnotes:

Today, Holidae is joined by Dre and Special Guest Omar.  They discuss the wages in American and address the disparaging differences of pay.  Should the difference of pay in a capitalist society be changed to be a little more equal? Should this trend continue to move as it has?  Join us as we give out opinions, then let us know yours.

Holidae starts off my reciting Mystikal’s verse on “It Ain’t My Fault”, by Sillk the Shocker.  In accordance to Moore’s Law, the past two weeks have been everything except for plentiful.  Well… except for the end of the past couple of weeks.

Holidae also gives the audience a few of his goals and information that has clicked into place.

Who in the hell decided Shaq was a good face to sell pizza to distance the company from racism?  Whomever that was, was 100% correct.  With the hiring of Shaq, will the pizza company be able to distance themselves from the sigma of racism?  Holidae and D discuss this manner, the oil debate… and the Green New Deal.

Oh yeah, and Holidae introduces D to the new kids R&B sensation, Desmond’s music.  That link will be below.

Way down deep in the bible belt, where progressive personalities are starting to muster up the courage to speak, there has been a change in culture.  The fight to turn over to the new regime is very much a battle in the South.  Marches have been constructed and carried out.  Peaceful protests as well as violent protests are among any google search of any time frame in the south after slavery.  In the grand ol state where Martin Luther King, Jr. took his first steps, there is a new bill being drafted.  In response to a bill proposing to remove the choice from a woman in deciding on an abortion, Rep. Dar’shun Kendrick proposed a bill which, among things, will restrict a man from the ability to have that issue occur without the consent of his partner. This will also start child support as early as possible.

Join the crew’s discussion.

R Kelly and Michael Jackson are both in the news for alleged assault to minors. Today, the guys bring in a special guest, Tez, an amateur writer in Charleston, SC and discuss the difference between the charges.  Are there any differences in the two sets of allegations?  What do we do from here?  The guys tackle this issue and discuss their thoughts and feelings towards the dead pop artist, and the very much alive R&B artist.

Season 3 Episode: Discussing Donald Trump, Worst Week Ever… Again

Topic:

There is a lot going on right now in the presidency.  Holidae has been hearing that this is the worst week ever for President Donald Trump for at least 3 different weeks in 2019.  In the continuation of these remarks, Holidae decided it was time to just go through the week.

Listen as Holidae describes the week as reported by left leaning and right leaning outlets and how they are both coming to the same conclusion (Fox News is not a real news station since it decided to be propaganda for the GOP about 10 years ago so Holidae got no news from there for this discussion).  First, the Korean Summit doesn’t go as planned, then Cohen tells on him.  Finally, Holidae mentions the Warmbier family and how they no longer think Trump is the cool man he once was when they were mad at Barack.

Awe Man!!!! Wasn’t that picture funny!! Well, this episode of Discussions is brought to you by lies and deceit.  Jussie Smollett decided to become “The Gay 2Pac” and allegedly staged a beatdown of himself by two rope wielding, bleach throwing, MAGA members.  First a city went into uproar, and then a nation.  Protestors grabbed their posters, sharpies, two sided tape, and picket sticks.  Activists started writing the finest of their speeches, and twitter fingers went to work.  It all soon fell down when the police started putting out the word that this may be a hoax (damn).

Why would someone do something like this?  Your guess is just as good as ours, but we have microphones and speculations so we went at it.  Join D and Holidae as they discuss what the hell is going on with Jussie Smollett.
