Shebana Coelho grew up in India with a Muslim mother and a Catholic father. She's an award-winning writer, performance artist and facilitator of workshops. She received a Fiction Fellowship from the New York Foundation for the Arts, and a Fulbright grant. Leaving cities behind, she started traveling all over the world to immense landscapes like Tierra del Fuego, Mongolia, Bolivia, Peru, and Mexico.
