Come with us as we journey back in time to a magical world where Bela Lugosi and Boris Karloff are friends, but also enemies—frenemies, even! These “monster” icons battle each other in this week’s film The Black Cat, and neither of them are even wearing scary makeup!
What could be more iconic than one more confrontation between Michael and Laurie? Ryan and Tim take on the latest, but not the last chapter in the Halloween franchise. Let’s get dismembering!
This week Tim and Ryan gush over the beautiful photography in 1965’s "Onibaba"— and that’s not even to mention how much they loved the story: a hypnotic tale of survival, guilt, and the malevolence that comes out of desperation.
Happy Thanksgiving! This week we tackle one of Tim’s biggest fears: cursed hair! This film’s a mind-bending journey into body-horror, mixed with some very real human darkness. Tim attempts to summarize it, while Ryan gets giddy over some “hair raising” deaths.
This week we tackle the sequel to The Strangers. Not really living up to its predecessor, Tim and Ryan attempt to make sense of this lackluster follow-up. Join us as we really get into the importance of subverting horror tropes.
The metal (okay, iron) madness is alive! We get super intense and culty and just straight up insane with this week’s film. Did we mention INTENSE? "Tetsuo: The Iron Man" delivers on all fronts. You’ll see what we mean.
This week we dive into some J-Horror with Ju-On: The Grudge. Eerie little kids are the best! Tim and Ryan get creeped out by the famous house that Ryan had the pleasure of visiting on his trip to Japan. Join us!

What do old college buds do when they reunite? Go hang out in the haunted forests of Sweden, of course! This week we dismember The Ritual, a fun romp of a film that teaches us to not bring a klutz hiking and to never, ever take the shortcut through the woods. Ryan and Tim differ on their enjoyment but one thing’s for sure, this movie needed dismembering.
