In this weeks edition of Friday Failures we couldn't not talk about Country Bears. We aren't sure whose idea it was to make a film off of one of the absolute worst attractions in DisneyWorld was but here it is in all of its failed glory.  We are still asking ourselves who is this movie for? Truly? WHO IS THIS FOR???? Even Christopher Walken couldn't save this movie.

It's a throwback to one of our favorites and just something that makes you feel GOOD.  Grab your tiara and come on back to the 2001 gem, the Princess Diaries. We really didn't align with the critics on this one and to this day it still baffles us. How could you NOT love Princess Diaries?

This was truly one of the first films to give us pause and say WTF is happening here...we look back on it with befuddled fondness and baffled admiration.  There are so many things about this movie that are inately odd but so many things that are just so perfect they were ahead of their time.  Would you think you would ever see a porno magazine becoming a key sub plot in a Disney film? Neither did we. 

Fly on over and revisit this classic with us.  Unidentified Flying Oddball from 1979.

If you surveyed 100 people we would put money on it that at least 90% of them would list Lion King when asked about Disney Movies that's because it IS THE KING.  So when picking a first episode for Top Chart Tuesdays we had to just say Hakuna Matata and return to The Lion King from 1994. NOT 2019 for the kids out there that think that abomination of a remake is somehow acceptable...it's not.  

Climb pride rock with us once again and enjoy the easy-ness and happiness that comes with revisiting a Disney darling. The movie of all movies. The Lion King. 

In order to understand the roots of the Disney Odd Pod we need to take you way way way back to one of the earliest episodes, Herbie Goes Bananas. Back then we had a different show name, we still used "quack" to cut out swear words as we were still under the dilusion that we were making a family show.  How far we have come! If you are new here...this movie is absolute CANON for us. We reference it in our daily life and mention it very frequently on the show.  It's important to understand the magic of a horny Chloris Leechman and the expression YOURE FEELING BETTER OCHO! 

This film is a Disney Odd Pod national treasure and we really hope you find time to revisit it with us this week.

OK....don't come for us! Just like Dorothy had the shit shocked out of her in this bizarre and terrifying 80s movie we know it scarred people.  But we just can't help wanting to give this one another chance. Is it really as bad as we thought it was? Or is it down right iconic? Thoughts? Let us know! 

Surprise Surpise! The Sword and the Rose from 1953 is the definition of surprise. We were NOT expecting anything that interesting or intriguing and this became an instant Disney Odd Pod favorite by all parties involved.  Unforunately at the time of our original recording this was not on Disney+ which we really couldn't and still can't understand why.  

If you missed it the first go around this is the perfect opportunity to find out why we love this movie. Grab your sword and hop on your horse and join us once again. 

We couldn't do a Friday Failure without including one of the ultimate fail of fails....The Shaggy Dog. Tim Allen might be man's best friend but he is definitely not our best friend in this 2006 film. Revisit this dog-awful flick with us and let us know your thoughts? Is this one of the worst movies we have ever seen? We think so.
