This podcast explores the story of Walt Disney Inc. and Wed Enterprises, the company Walt Disney created to manage his backyard miniature railroad and control the rights to his name and two Disneyland attractions he owned. The tension between Walt and his brother Roy reached a boiling point due to Walt's decision to create a new company and ally with rival studios. Walt also made a deal with Paramount to finance the construction of Disneyland and kept ownership of some assets under his personal company, Retlaw Enterprises. Despite the family drama, Walt's vision led to the creation of Disneyland and a legacy that has lasted for generations.
