Disposable Heroes

Matt and Yee actually go back together to past warped tours, I believe 2011 to be specific. Though their paths have been very different the synergy in this convo is evident! Matt is a founding member of the iconic metalcore band August Burns Red, who has their 9th studio album coming out 4/3/20 entitled "Guardians", please go and give the new single "Defender" a head bang. Though August Burns Red is the root of Matt, HE is a major root of the drum community. Matt has started his own drum company, has a custom "blast bell" via Zildjian and is one of the most sought after instructors these days. But of course his main value is what a quality human he is, thanks so much for the time brother! Sit back and enjoy some laughs on this epic episode from NAMM 2020. Aloha, -Disposable Heroes

[imgfull][/imgfull] Pennywise helped shape my youth, this is for sure one of my fave episodes I have recorded yet! Being good friends and neighbors with Byron for years in the Southbay of Los Angeles, I’ve never been able to “geek out” on him, so to be able to sit down and have a conversation as a full blown fan was nothing short of mindblowing for the Pennywise fan in me. He goes deep into all the history of the band, their connection with Sublime, and that’s just the tip of this epic iceberg! From one Pennywise fan to another…….ENJOY! -Yee... Read more »
