Ludacris suggests that the "Fast and Furious":: franchise could be going to space with "FF9": Jude Law could be playing Captain Hook in Disney's live-action "Peter Pan":: The Capcom video game to movie adaptation of "Monster Hunter":: has been delayed until next year. Oscar Isaac and Michelle Williams will star in an HBO limited series based on the Swedish series "Scenes From a Marriage":: Netflix extends "The Crown":: to season 6. "Stargirl":: gets renewed for a season 2, but it's moving over to the CW. Marketing for "Wonder Woman 1984":: shows off a tame Cheetah design. The CW recasts it's "Batwoman":: for season 2 and HBO Max green lights "The Batman":: prequel series called "Gotham PD":: Chris Hemsworth hangs up the hammer for a role as Hulk...Hogan. That's right, it's a biopic of "Hulk Hogan":: The Sims gets a reality show called "The Sims Spark'd":: The "Wonder Years":: will be getting a pilot episode for a reboot on ABC.

Mark Hoppus plays "The Last of Us Part 2":: and dammit, it was good. "Call od Duty Modern Warfare Warzone":: removes some features. Ninja:: gets indecisive about his streaming future. Nintendo:: gives us a few sales on older games. "Fallout 76":: heads to Game Pass while "Cyberpunk 2077":: takes a different road. Microsoft:: gets plenty of spotlight with a date for the 1st party "Xbox Series X":: game reveals, rumors of more acquisitions, and upgrade rules going into next-gen. Sony has another patent spotted for backwards compatibility and invests into a big game engine. Ubisoft:: has surprises planned for their "UbiForward":: event, but not "Far Cry 6":: or "Assassin's Creed Valhalla":: , those have been leaked, but nobody is surprised by this. Linkedin reveals a new open-world VR game planned with Rockstar:: Lastly, the developer of "Superhot":: has another game in the franchise available for free, if you qualify, of course. No reviews this week, we tried being Ironman for the week, but time was not on our side.

In TV and movie news, Walmart plans to bring drive-in theaters back with the help of Tribeca. The Westworld creators set their sights on Fallout, a popular video game franchise, for their next series. Star Trek gets animated for CBS All Access. Marvel acquires the Alien and Predator franchises for comic publication. Christopher Miller praises the Spider-verse sequel while preparing for a Clone High reboot. Beavis and Butthead are heading back to television. Third time's a charm! Hollywood begins filming again internationally. Jason Momoa plans to give everyone the cold shoulder with a live-action telling of Frosty the Snowman. HBO Max replaces Batman v Superman with the Ultimate Edition.

In trailers, we see a teaser for Cuphead and show our Respect for Aretha Franklin with a new biopic trailer. Along with a few more movies, The Silencing and The Tax collector. Ending the section with a War for Cybertron coming to Netflix this month and Die Hart, a Quibi comedy based on Kevin Hart.

Speaking of Quibi, we give our thoughts on The Princess Bride remake that dropped on Quibi. Jessica fills us in on another show called Murder House Flip. Warrior Nun hit Netflix and it’s not quite what we expected, but we have opinions. Finally, we watched 7500 on Amazon Prime.

In gaming, Playstation Plus revealed the "free" games of July with NBA2K20, Rise of The Tomb Raider, and Erica: An Interactive Thriller. Disco Elysium and Fallout are getting the television treatment. We get new details on the unofficial, but official Harry Potter RPG. Call of Duty Modern Warfare Warzone got a surprise update again for season 4. NBA2K21 gets new details going into next gen and their price just went up with some questionable practices. Crysis Remastered goes through a bit of a crisis before it's even announced. Cyberpunk 2077 loses its legs. Rumors of an Xbox Series S swirl for August and Microsoft trademarks an old franchise in Fable. Sony might be implementing advertising into virtual reality. Nintendo makes a few apologies and EVO Online gets canceled. 

We finish our episode with some DTF quickie reviews on older games like No Man's Sky, Journey to the Savage Planet, and Star Wars Battlefront 2.

In TV and movie news, AMC Theaters decided to postpone their reopenings after Disney delayed Mulan and WB Studios did the same with TENET and Bill & Ted Face the Music were delayed. In the meantime, Christopher Nolan films are now available in Fortnite. Yes, you heard that correctly. Why did the chicken cross the road? To get to Netflix and film Chicken Run 2. HBO Max decides to extend their DC Extended Universe films on the service. Apparently less than a month on the service that put them to the forefront of marketing and branding wasn't long enough...weird. Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness gets another villain cast. Evil Dead lives on with another film. VelociPastor does too, but it's complicated. Cobra Kai gets rehomed on Netflix. Amazon Prime puts a watch party application into beta. Elizabeth Banks rides a The Magic School Bus. Animated shows make moves with voice acting to strengthen diversity. Brooklyn 99 starts over to tackle what a police show is in 2020. The Princess Bride gets a remake on Quibi that nobody asked for...seriously, nobody. Margot Robbie teams up with the Birds of Prey writer to sail the seas of The Pirates of the Caribbean. Universal takes a dive into the world of Atlantis. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are getting another reboot. No wonder they never grow up! Twister also gets a reboot, but it's not about the game. Michael Keaton might be joining the DCEU or should I say Batman Returns...Returns? NAILED IT! 

In trailers, we talk about the new Unsolved Mysteries series headed to Netflix. There is a new trailer for The King's Man. Honestly, we forgot it was a thing. Lastly, The Boys Season 2 dropped a few clips and a trailer.

In reviews, Jessica watched the Hulu series Mrs. America and we finish the episode with our thoughts on Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga. Will there be spoilers? Probably not! But seriously, there won't be.

In gaming, July brings new games for Xbox Games with Gold and Playstation Plus. History reveals a Hobbit / Lord of the RIngs journey that never happened. WB Games and Rocksteady may have a Suicide Squad game to add with the next Batman Arkham game. Shawn Layden comes back to talk about his thoughts on the future of game length sustainability. CD Projekt Red showcases some more of Cyberpunk 2077 during their Night City Wire. Facebook makes moves in the gaming realm with the purchase of Ready at Dawn. Microsoft will be closing down most of their retail stores in place of a digital future, but Mixer won’t be a part of the plan as Microsoft is abandoning the service and directing the current streamers to create on Facebook Gaming. Dr. Disrespect is banned from Twitch for the time being, but nobody really seems to know why. Crystal Dynamic shows off new gameplay of Marvel’s Avengers during their War Table stream. Sony breaks records with The Last of Us Part 2 and Steven reviews the game after playing all 30 hours.

In TV news, Stranger Things hints at the episode count for season 4 on social media. Solar Opposites gets renewed for season 3 long before season 2 comes out. Dan Harmon follows his co-creator and signs a deal with Fox Entertainment for another Rick and Morty type show. New Warriors is dead, but Modok was going to be in the series. CBS All Access realizes that content exclusive to senior citizens might not be the future of streaming. Jessica gives her final review on The Great. We talk Devs, the FXX show on Hulu and be careful the Floor is Lava. Yes, that's really the name of the show on Netflix. July is almost here, so it is time to see what will release on all of the streaming services.

In trailers, Andy Samberg and Cristin Milioti are trapped in the same day over and over while visiting Palm Springs on Hulu. Netflix is begging everyone to see how cool their new show called Warrior Nun is, but is it? HBO Max gives us another tease of Darkseid in the Snyder Cut.

In movies, RIP Sir Ian Holm, you have given us all many great unexpected adventures through your career. Comic-Con goes online this year. Movie theaters change their attitude about mask wearing during their reopening. Kristen Stewart joins royalty for her next film as Princess Diana. Hugh Jackman might be racing his way to the big screen again with a biopic called Ferrari. The Animorphs series is trying to make a comeback, yes, seriously. Ewan McGregor teaches us a lot about his role in Pinocchio. And we finish the episode with our review on The Wrong Missy, a Happy Madison film for Netflix.

In gaming, EA showed off their new lineup of games at the EA Live event and it’s about what you expected, but they did talk about Star Wars Squadrons, Apex Legends, and Sims 4, so there is that. Square Enix revealed a new Kingdom Hearts game, well sorta. It’s a rhythm game called Kingdom Hearts Melody of Memory. Nintendo gets back into photography with an announcement of a new Pokemon Snap game for the Switch. PAX West and PAX Australia have shifted to a joint digital event this year, called PAX Online. Microsoft gives gamers a better idea of how the Smart Delivery feature will work within the Xbox One and Xbox Series X ecosystem. CD Projekt Red has some bad news, CyberPunk 2077 was delayed to 2078. Okay, not that long, but long enough to upset some people. The Crash Bandicoot franchise might have a new game leaked online. The Polish Education System has added a video game to the recommended reading. Wait, what!?

Finally, we end the episode with our reviews on a few games. Jessica has some “choice” words for a mobile game called Choices. Steven and his Warzone squad pulled out another clutch quads victory. It’s not quite a review, but there’s some new game features we talk about. We dive into a game called Man Eater. When GTAV and Tony Hawk Pro Skater fuck in the ocean, you get this game about a shark just trying to live an honest life. That isn’t the only apex predator we played a game about. Steven also gives his thoughts on Predator Hunting Grounds, a 4v1 console exclusive online game for Playstation 4.
