The Washington Commanders went to Tampa Bay on Sunday night, in primetime, and beat the Buccaneers 23-20 on a walk-off field goal to send our squad to play Detroit on Saturday night at 8pm on FOX.

Jayden Daniels is making a fantastic case for the best rookie season of all time. He went 24/35 for 268 yards and 2 TDs, while also contributing 36 yards rushing. The offense was supported by Dyami Brown and Terry McLaurin, who both finished with 89 yards and a TD. The defense stepped up when it needed to, getting a fumble recovery by Bobby Wagner off of a Baker Mayfield mishandled hand-off and coming up big in multiple spots to ensure the Bucs only scored 20 points.

The Washington Commanders beat the Dallas Cowboys 23-19 at Jerry World to conclude an EPIC regular to move to 12-5 on the season and have officially secured the 6 seed in the playoffs in the NFC. The 12-5 start to the season is the best since the 1991 season where they won the Superbowl.
We touch on the sloppy win where Marcus Mariota came in at halftime, because Jayden Daniels experienced some leg soreness, and dominated! He went 15 of 18 for 161 yards and 2 TDs, including a walk-off TD to Terry McLaurin with just 3 seconds left, and added 5 carries for 56 yards and a TD.
We give our early thoughts on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers matchup that will take place next week to begin the playoffs. How do you feel about the matchup?

December 30, 2024 Washington Commanders CLINCH Playoff Spot! Jayden Daniels Incredible In 30-24 OT Win vs Falcons
The Washington Commanders beat the Atlanta Falcons 30-24 at home in an EPIC overtime game to move to 11-5 on the season and have officially clinched a spot in the playoffs. The 11-5 start to the season is the best since the 1991 season where they won the Superbowl.
This game was all about the superstar rookie QB Jayden Daniels, who went 24/36 for 227 yards and 3 TDs, including the game-winner to Zach Ertz in overtime, and 1 INT. He also added 127 yards on the ground on 16 carries. Olamide Zaccheaus caught 8 balls for 85 yards and 1 TD, whil Terry McLaurin only had 1 catch for 5 yards in this game.
The defense did not have a good game against Bijan Robinson, giving up over 90 yards on the ground to him, along with 2 TDs on 17 carries. Michael Penix made his road and primetime debut and looked shaky at times, but dialed in when the moments were brightest, converting 2 4th downs on their penultimate drive, including a 4th and goal to Kyle Pitts for a game-tying TD, and marching the Falcons down the field for a potential game-winning 56 yard field goal that Riley Patterson hit short.

The Washington Commanders lost a heartbreaker to the Pittsburgh Steelers 28-27. The Commanders had multiple self-inflicted wounds that led to the loss, and a horrible spot by the refs on a 4th and 9 catch by Zach Ertz. Their next game is Thursday night against the Philadelphia Eagles, where the winner will be in 1st place in the NFC East.
Jayden Daniels had his least efficient outing as a pro, going 17 of 34 for 202 yards, and just 3 rushes for 5 yards. There were multiple drops that did not help his cause, with Luke McCaffrey and Zach Ertz each dropping crucial passes in the contest. On the defensive side of the ball, Benjamin St. Juste got beat for another TD, this time by new Pittsburgh Steeler WR Mike Williams, and rookie DT Johnny Newton jumped offside on a 4th and 1 that ultimately sealed the game for the Steelers.
