The Washington Commanders have gotten some ridiculously low record predictions from national media members.. are they underrating our Commanders? Or are we overrating our Washington Commanders? KDot and Amit dive into the NFL schedule to see if 10-7 was too high a prediction when the schedule first came out.
Commanders training camp began Tuesday, July 26th. How are they doing so far? How are Carson Wentz and Jamin Davis doing? We also received the news that Chase Young likely will not be ready for the beginning of the NFL season. How important is that to our team? Can we win the games against Detroit and Jacksonville? KDot explains the impact of Chase Young missing, but also dives into the good news that Chase Roullier was activated off the PUP list. We also spend a moment acknowledging the retirement of former WR Antonio Gandy-Golden
We conclude the show with the Comment Mailbag, where we shout out comments from Tony, Spencer and Nelson regarding the origins of District Divided, which DC team will win a championship next, and whether Amit actually screamed “THIS IS OUR CITY!” after the Washington Capitals won the Stanley Cup.

Juan Soto and the Washington Nationals look destined to break up with one another after Soto, the generational talent for our Nationals, turned down a 15-year, $440 million deal. The contract would have made him the highest paid player in baseball, but only the 20th highest in AAV (Average Annual Value). The Nationals went a step further after Soto rejected the contract extension by leaking that Soto rejected it, including the figures of the deal, and not chartering a plane for Soto to go to Los Angeles to participate in both the All-Star game and the Home Run Derby, which he ended up winning. Is there any chance Juan Soto stays with the Nationals?
The Washington Commanders begin training camp on Tuesday, July 26th and the question here is simple: Which player are you looking out for in training camp? KDot and Amit provide their answers to the question, with answers to it including Carson Wentz, Jamin Davis, Antonio Gibson, Cole Turner and Antonio Gandy-Golden.
Wayne Rooney, the Manchester United legend and former DC United player, has agreed to become head coach of DC United for the next 2 seasons. The big question is why he chose to do this. His family is going to stay in the UK while Rooney coaches here in the district. Was this a smart move for Rooney? What about DC United?
We conclude the show with both the Comment Mailbag, as well as the AFTER THE POD segment where we discuss what a “Big 3” means in the NBA.
