Let's talk about #daysofourlives.  Anna doesn't trust Kristen.  Ava and Johnny tell EJ that they saw each other naked.  Li asks Gabi to stop wearing Stefan's ring.  Alex goes out with Chanel and Allie.  Alex meets Gabi.  Alex brings home Sloan Peterson who is Leo's defense attorney.  Leo tells Rafe about Gwen and the Sarah mask.  Li wants Rolf to program Stefan to go after Chloe.  Kristen wants the same thing.  Lucas tells Kate that he's going to plead guilty.  Paulina wants Kaman back together.  Kate pleads guilty to accessory after the fact.  Chad and Jada find evidence that Leo was in the secret room in the DiMansion. Orpheus sends Kayla yellow roses. Stephanie comes home for a secret business meeting. Chad confronts Gwen about Leo being in that room. Chad hurts himself and gets treated by Kayla who is trying to help him deal with his anger.  EJ overhears Ava and Gwen discussing Ava helping Gwen escape prison the night of Abby's murder.  Xarah think Leo, Ava, and Gwen are all working together.  Johnny apologizes to Gabi for blowing up her relationship with Jake.  Kristen threatens Chloe with an envelope opener.  Chloe complains to Gabi who blows her off.  Kristen sees Rachel and gives her a locket with them and Brady in it. Brady is not happy that Kristen is using Rachel to try to get them back together. Gabi catches Li and Rolf talking in their hotel room.

We have many things to discuss this week. "Days of our Lives" is moving to the Peacock app in September and leaving NBC. Chad snaps at Thomas. Orpheus asks Marlena to give therapy to Evan. Steve tells John that he wants to fix their Orpheus problem permanently. Evan is found to be the baby's father.  Xander threatens Lucas for implicating Sarah in Abby's murder. Gwen is upset over Jake's death. Marlena hypnotizes Sarah who remembers Rex visiting her the night of Abby's murder. Dr. Rolf is unable to save Jake, but he also has Stefan still alive with a mechanical heart. Tony tells EJ they should reach out to Vivian about Jake's shares of the company. Gwen and Xander talk about Sarah being a suspect. Ava demands a six figure job from Gabi. EJ sweet talks Ava into moving into the DiMansion. Shawn tells Belle that Evan is the father of Jan's baby. Evan wants to leave with his son to New Zealand to be reunited with his son he had with Jordan.  Gabi tells Li her deal with Ava. Shawn wants to keep the baby. Jan holds her baby and kicks Evan into the water at the pier. Paulina wants Nicole to get back with Eric.  Jada asks Eric out. Paulina presses Abe to run for governor. Chad gets drunk at the Pub. Eric calls Sonny to get Chad. Jack is not happy to see Gwen. Rafe tells Jack and Gwen that Sarah has an alibi. Gwen and Xander suspect that Gwen wore a Sarah mask and killed Abby. Sarah and Xander find the Sarah mask in Gwen's luggage. They put it back when Gwen comes into her hotel room. Gwen disposes of the mask in a dumpster. Leo finds it and confronts her with it. Xarah go dumpster diving for the mask. Since they have no evidence, they decide to not tell the police and to investigate Gwen on their own. Johnny wants Paulina to help him win back Chanel. Victor tells Alex what his role will be at Titan.

After buying the ring Jake and Ava are mugged by Nicole's attacker and Jake is shot. Jake dies and Ava mourns his death. Gabi and Kate hear the news. Kate recalls her romance with Jake and shares her story with Paulina. Gabi heads to the hospital and convinces Ava to say she married Jake so they can control his shares in DiMera. EJ and Chad are going head to head over Abby's death and Sami leaving. EJ demands Chad leave the mansion and turn over his shares. Tony arrives as the peace maker and reminds them of family ties Tony runs into Ally and her pies and playfully recites Simple Simon. Johnny arrives and they fight over the pies and Chanel. Paulina helps Chanel make her decision. Is it penis or vagina...can we say that here? Well vagina wins out and Chanel and Ally go to bed leaving Johnny heartbroken. Abe urges Roman to not give up on Kate while Paulina tells Kate the same about Roman. Kate goes to the pub but Roman refuses to talk to her. Sarah continues to hallucinate and attacks Gwen with a knife. Dr Rolf has a proposition for Kristen and they go to the hospital to get Jakes's body. More spoilers and rumors.

Dr Rolf talks to Stefano. Orpheus has big plans for Salem. Marlena hypnotizes Lucas at Kate's regquest and he remembers seeing Sarah at the DiMansion and not seeing Abby at all. Jada Hunter arrives in Salem as a new detective and is the daughter of Marcus Hunter. Xander and Sarah are about to be married when Jada arrives to take Sarah in for questioning. Sarah cooperates and tells Jada everything about what has been happening with her. Paulina encourages Abe to run for Govener. Johnny pressures Chanel when Ally shows up and they demand an answer from Chanel. Chad is still grieving and having problems dealing with the children without Abby. Sonny says he will always be there to support him in anyway he can. Kate was ready to tell Ally about Lucas before Marlena arrived and Ally found out and was furious. Tony and Anna return and offer comfort and support for Chad, JJ also returns for his sister's funeral. Sonny and Will offer their condolences and take Chad back to the DiMansion where he must enter the bedroom where Abby was murdered. Gwenn calls Jack from prison which enrages JJ. Jennifer reads Abby's obituary as we see her family getting ready for the funeral. Kate visits Lucas and they both still worry if Lucas could be guilty. Will arrives and he tells Lucas that he thinks Abby's murder has to do with her investigating Sami's kidnapping. Kayla is struggling to write the eulogy but uses a beautiful poem that describes her feelings for Abby. So who did kill Abby? Jack wants answers from Steve and Steve tells him he thinks it is someone Abby knew. We see Leo sells her jewelry to Clyde. Clyde is arrested when Rafe spots one of Abby's bracelets on Nancy's arm. Clyde swears he is innocent. Leo visits Gwen and accuses her of the murder since she went missing that day. Gwen calls Ava who wants to know where she went when she left the prison that day, We also have Sarah who is acting strangely and Kristen who can come and go without being seen. Thanks to Paulina and Abe, Lani got a plea deal to lesser time. Lani, Eli and the twins leave Salem to where Lani will serve her time. Little Bo is christened with Marlena and Rafe as Godparents and leave with Ben and Ciera as they start their adventure on the Living in Cin. Orpheus tells Even he is the father and what his plan is with Jan. Even calls Jan to bring him the baby. Jan escapes the hospital with the baby and keys to the Living in Cin. Jan calls Shawn to meet her at the docks and Shawn tells Belle where he is going. Jan knocks out Shawn and Belle arrives and knocks Jan into the river. Beyond Salem starts next week.

Gwen is absent at bed check and made a phone call to someone and has the strongest motive to kill Abby. Ava goes to visit Gwen and asks if she did it. Could Ava be involved herself. Jack and Jennifer return and go to see Abby and in their grief tell her what she means to them. Jack goes to see Gwen while Jennifer goes to be with Lucas. Lee tells Gabi about Abby's death and she is believably grief stricken and goes to see Chad and vows to find the killer. Jake goes to comfort Chad. But where are Tony and Anna and Doug and Julie? They are family who should have been there or at least been told. Tripp tells Steve and Kayla he is leaving Salem. He also tells Chanel and Ally. More comings and goings and new spoilers and rumors.
