Abby drugs Kristen and goes to look for Sarah. Kristen recovers and finds Abby and no Sarah. Kristen explains to Abby how she kidnapped Sarah and Abby realizes it was because of her. Abby reads Renee's diary and we get a short history of her life. Kate and Chad discuss Abby and where she could be. Tony arrives and thinks he has a way to help Chad find her. Anna meets TR Coats and tells him she wants to be a part of the movie. Anna begins to tell the story of Tony and Andre and how she couldn't tell them apart. TR suggests she write it all down and he will take a look at it. TR goes to see Paulina and tries to convince her he has changed. Eli makes a visit to TR. Johnny continues to convince Gabi that Jake is double crossing her. Rafe goes to trial and Nicole trys to convnice Trask that Ava set him up. Nicole finally let Ava know that she did sleep with Rafe and knows what she is up to. Tripp tells Chanel he is going to propose to Alli and Ava lets it slip to Alli that Tripp is going to propose. Both Alli and Chanel do not seem pleased. Julie visits Ben and Ciera and questions why the cross is not up. They explain to her why and she suspects the devil is still in Salem. Ben and Ciera come to the conclusion that the devil went into Johnny. Jack finds out Gwen and Xander are engaged and questions Gwen about Abby being missing. More spoilers and comings and goings. Johnny's producer for the movie arrives in Salem and demands the movie continue. The producer is T R Coates who also turns out to be Paulina's ex husband and Lani's father. Lani and the twins run into Paulina and Ray and Paulina manages to avoid them finding anything out. Lani and Abe have a very nice father daughter conversation. Nicole is even more convinced that Ava is setting up Rafe. Abby goes to the air field to confront Sarah and discovers it is Ava behind the Sarah mask. Gwen knocks out Abby. The DiMera pilot offers to take care of Abby for a price. Abby ends up face to face with Kristen on DiMera Island. Sarah is being hidden away on the same island. Xander proposes to Gwen. Tripp takes Jan's place in the coma. The devil crashes the Horton Christmas and sets fire to the tree top angel. John rushes to save the day and knocks out MarDevil. With Marlena tied to the bed John prepares for an exorcism. Eric arrives and informs John he has re entered the priesthood. Family members arrive to help carry out the exorcism of Marlena. The exorcism is a success and Marlena is set free. Lucas convinces Jason to say EJ hired him to kidnap Sami. Lucas sets up EJ by hacking into the DiMera computer. Chad catches him and demands to know the truth. Chad decides to go along with Lucas and frame EJ. Sami and EJ have made up when Shin enters and removes EJ as co CEO. Sami finds out that EJ kidnapped her and then turns to Lucas. The Hortons trim the tree as Jules and Carver get their ornaments. Jennifer and Jack return home and Jennifer has life changing news to tell. Kate and Victor change their mind about having Philip declared dead. Brady is released. Kate and Victor want to get Philip help. Ava over hears Brady and Chloe taking about Rafe and Nicole having sex. Later Ava finds Duke and it does not turn out well for the bear! Chanel and Johnny come home from Italy a married couple. Ally is not happy but later wishes them well and wants to celebrate New Year's. As the New Year comes to an end, we see the Devil has not completely left Salem...we will discuss that little surprise ending on the show. More comings and goings along with spoilers. Sami goes to see EJ and sees him with his wedding ring. Sami rips up the divorce papers. Rafe kisses Nicole in plain sight in the Horton Square and Ava sees them. A Very Salem Christmas premiered on the Peacock network. Sonny helps Will write a Christmas story about a different reality Salem. Couples are mixed up and cetain events have unfolded differenlty.
