Heaven and earth are called to witness our choices and they do! And once our choice is made, God moves heaven and earth to support that choice. A sobering thought depending on how we've chosen! God's is the power to do and ours is the power to choose.

We are always choosing. We choose all the time, all day long. We choose who we listen to and who we talk to and who we read and what we do. When God calls us to choose, He's not asking us to do something difficult. Choosing is His gift to us, and we know how!

In Deuteronomy, God calls on the Israelites to make a choice that day: Choose life or choose death. He didn't say, "Choose God." He said, "Choose LIFE." Why? What is in this very primal choice of life or death that sets in motion a path of blessing or curse?

The vulnerability of a little child is heart-wrenching to see, but that's how open we're called to be. The Holy Spirit then moves in and leads us through life's labyrinth, with all wisdom and discernment available for every possible circumstance we encounter!

It's frightening to be vulnerable, but we are called to be vulnerable sheep. The temptation of even born-again believers is to grasp for power, yet the only true safety in this dangerous world is in following our Shepherd, Jesus Christ, wherever He goes.

Overcoming hatred takes God's love. No amount of self-discipline, thought-policing, or tongue-holding can substitute for an influx of that love! Regardless of the issue, the call is the same: receive God's love for you and pour it out on Him and then others.

Translating a spoken message into the written word while keeping the anointing is a job only the Spirit can do, and in Overcoming Self-hatred, He truly did! A living message of the Spirit needs only a hungry heart to receive its impartation before blooming.
