Jesus had one purpose, "I delight to do Thy will!" We, believers, have no right to independence. When we exercise that right we don't gain anything but the loss of God.

As children of God we're called to the priesthood—to be a priest to minister unto the Lord. There's actually only one way to do this, which goes beyond all efforts. At the end of the day as well as the end of a life it's about God and us alone. These quiet moments of stillness give us time to reflect and deal. Martha learned that she, as a priest, had a ministry to the Father which helped facilitate an atmosphere of peace in the time of Kenneth's passing.

A powerfully challenging message about our position as a priest to minister unto the Lord. Most think our service is to be for the people around us, but Martha experienced during her husbands passing that the biggest ministry she had to Kenneth was first towards the Lord.

On January 11th Martha's husband Kenneth Kilpatrick went home to be with the Lord. Over their 57 years of marriage they experienced such life but by the end of the story they had learned that marriage is about being one in Christ. Marriage is two individuals living in the oneness of Christ, and this was the end of their story.

The Love of God is shocking and triumphant. It conquers over evil and wins the struggles against it. The Love of God is merciful and direct and we have the opportunity to enter into it with Him. We've witnessed His victory over hearts captured and bound.

God, how do you overcome evil with good? We are learning that God's love is His mercy to reaches evil people. Sometimes suffering, separation, and confrontation are God's means to love us and bring us to need Him. God's love reaches evil people.

The Word of God was written as a love letter to us His beloved. When we parcel off doctrines from the intended purpose for which it was written, we are left with mere creeds, lifeless statements and binding rules. The Word of God must be read from the premise of His Love.
