i've got some juicy, hot goss for you today ;) but also intense and emotional thought processes to share as well. as we contemplate what it means to be a part of history and to change the focuses therewithin, we remember it is within our own power and agency to alter the narratives and center the story on ourselves. change and revolution is dire; your story matters and holds power and answers that the world needs. how would our lives change if we centered this idea? what would your next step be? {potential trigger warning for this episode- mentions and discussions surrounding sexual assault and rape}. Please check out @theportiabrown on instagram for more support and love and empowerment regarding topics discussed in today's episode!

welcome back to me and you! after much time and life and cultivation, I have a juicy first episode back for us all after making many changes to my platforms, where I re-imagine what divine slut nation means to me and the intentions within. i'm talking all things sensuality, divinity, godliness, and slowing down to connect with yourself and the world around you for the sake of unlearning who you've been socialized to be for misogynistic world.

In this episode, I reflect on what mindsets and aspects I am having to unlearn and release in order to grow the development of my sexuality. In a world that seemingly did not want me to experience my most authentic, sexiest version of myself, what mindsets and perspectives and ideas have I held onto that need to go? On this journey of exploring my sexuality and trying to express myself more fully, I am noticing a lot of old beliefs I used to utilize that just no longer serve me! They gotta go if I wanna feel sexier!!! Listen up!!

Potential trigger warning: discussions related to sexual assault and rape (no specific stories of assaults are discussed). In this episode, I talk about my silly story of how I slowly figured out what sex was growing up, and the conversation evolves into a discussion of why lack of appropriate sex education can lead to harmful situations and perpetuates rape culture.

It's giving, holiday special!!! Christmas may be over, but my thoughts on the Christmas story and the virgin Mary are not. Let's not forgot that the way we tell stories and talk about history impacts us greatly today, and it's important to be mindful about what messages we're spreading and reinforcing , especially over the holidays! Join me for a deconstruction discussion about the re-imagination of Mary from a exvangelical point of view as I re-center the focus of the Christmas story.
