Hello, and welcome back friends.  Today we are going to be talking about having Peace and Goodwill Towards Men.  It is an extraordinarily strong and important part of the immense  benefits of being a child of God and believing in God’s Son Jesus. This  belief can bring us to a better place than we can ever imagine in our  lives.  It can take us to lands that we may have never visited.  It can  introduce us to people and friendships that we may never have had. It  can lead to life lessons, spiritual awakenings, and finally give us  peace in a world of Chaos.

We all have fears. Just read the news. That’s enough to scare anyone.  Some fears are big and scary, some are small and worrisome. But, what  should you do when you are faced with fear? Do you try to avoid it? Or  do you turn and face it? Here are a few ideas that might help you  overcome fear.

What does the word faith mean?  It means a lot of things to many  different people.  Here are a few things to help you define what faith  means to you.

First, let’s look at how much faith is needed to get things done. Jesus said in Matthew 17:20, (NIV), He,  (Jesus), replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you,  if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this  mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be  impossible for you.”

Do you spend a lot of time worrying? Do you have health problems because  of worry? What do you worry about? Rent, your mortgage, groceries, your  car payment? How much time have we spent worrying about something and  it turned be completely unfounded? We will never get that time back; it  is lost forever.

What does it mean to serve others? Does it mean that we become  mentally bonded servants? Does it mean that we lose part of ourselves?  Is it demeaning?

Sometimes we connect a feeling of being less than  when we think about serving others. We feel we must make ourselves  vulnerable to do what it takes to help others. We feel we have no say if  we volunteer to be available to help someone. We feel that we will be  taken advantage of if we give ourselves to serving others.

Everyone experiences pain in their lives.  It is unavoidable.  Whether  emotional pain or physical pain we all go through it at some point in  our lives. Or there are some people who continuously deal with pain.   How can we not let it take over our lives?  How can we fight it, and  stand against, what it can do to us? Let’s face it, we have all been motivated by guilt at sometime in our  lives.  Our kids are a good indicator on how well we fight the urge to  give in to it.  We let ourselves be led into something we don’t want to  do just to get some relief from the strain it puts on us.  We help out  when we don’t have time and we move heaven and earth to do some thing  for someone else that we wouldn’t do for ourselves.  Believe me when I  say that I have been there.  I know how it feels.

How many times have we seen something in the news that makes us afraid?   Like the Coronavirus that’s sweeping the land.  We try to stay strong,  but nagging doubt seems to creep in anyway.  There is so much  information that we find ourselves swayed back and forth, until we don’t  know what to believe.  Then, we start questioning everything around  us.  Should we stay in, should we go out, should we wear protection when  we can’t stay at home?  Here are somethings that might help you stay  calm.

Feeling like you should have been born in another time?  We have all  wondered if now is not the most opportune time to be alive.  We could  have lived at any time in history.  One thing we have to remember is  that every generation has had its own crisis, and we are facing ours.   Another thing to remember is to stay smart about what is going on.
