Joshua picked twelve men to pick up a rock in the Jordan river as they passed through it. Each rock representing the twelve tribes as a memorial of God stopping the water so they could walk through. Life is hard in so many ways. We can often feel like we are unseen, unheard and that God is blind to the situations we are facing! Genesis 16 shows us in the story of Hagar that not only does God see us, He hears us, he knows our situation and He’s there for us!
