The verse “women submit to your husbands” often causes quite the stir. It’s not usually a womens favorite verse but what if there’s more to this section of scripture found in 1 Peter 3:1-7? We move onto Act 2 of Hagars life. If she thought her situation had been dire before little did she know it would become so much worse. The good news is these things don’t take God by surprise and He hears her, He responds to her and He guides her!

Life is hard in so many ways. We can often feel like we are unseen, unheard and that God is blind to the situations we are facing! Genesis 16 shows us in the story of Hagar that not only does God see us, He hears us, he knows our situation and He’s there for us!

The Lord invites us in Psalm 23 to a prepared table where we can dine with Him and have a great meal even with our enemies surrounding us! Come to the table you will be satisfied.

There is so much we can learn from the wonder women of the Bible. From our value, to fearing God, being a leader, having the ability to act quickly, to tag teaming with other wonder women, and being free to be honest with God! That’s just scratching the surface! Remember impact is not gender specific so guys this one’s for you too!
