Psalm 119 is referred to the Mt. Everest of Psalms. In part 2 we continue to conquer this chapter that is full of insight into God’s character, His word and how it applies to us in our relationship with Him!

Psalm 119 is the longest chapter in the Bible. Since it’s so long it would be easy to read it mindlessly but, after being tempted to do that myself, we are going to see what we can glean from this chapter. We couldn’t dive in properly in one episode so this will be a two part episode.

My husband recently talked about Barnabus in the Bible and how he was such an encourager.

A trait that seems simple but maybe a little harder to execute.

This week I got to be a witness to a situation that left me humbled but encouraged in the pursuit of becoming a “Barney.” I hope to encourage you as well!

Does God have feeling? And if He does how does He deal with them? The Bible says we are made in His image so I think we can conclude that He has them but more than likely deals with them better than us! Let’s dive into scripture and follow His example.

I was raised as a kid with the Bill Gothard teachings so watching the series Shiny Happy People hit home on so many levels. In this podcast I am going to share my take on the cult that is IBLP and how digging into my past has explained so much about how I grew up. This is my story and my perspective.

I recently watched the docuseries, Shiny, Happy People and The Secrets of Hillsong. Afterwards I found myself saying enough is enough of the church covering up misconduct and leaving the victims out to dry. We have to do better. Not an easy subject but one I believe that unless we dive into it we won’t make the changes necessary to advocate and protect victims.

Recently I was sitting in a court room again and as I sat there filled with anxiety and a significant amount of emotions, I began to pray for the Judge. I prayed for Solomon’s wisdom to be shown to the judge as he heard the case and gave his ruling. Solomons wisdom was given by the Lord to have knowledge and a discerning heart something we all can learn from and apply to our lives.

Culture is setting the direction of where we are headed in so many areas of life. But does culture align with God’s word? When faced with hard decisions in life are we consulting our emotions and influenced by what the world thinks we should do or, are we consulting the Bible to give us direction to walk uprightly ? This podcast will hopefully give you some food for thought as we navigate the world we live in.

It’s been a hot minute since Erin’s husband has joined her so she thought since their 26th wedding anniversary is coming up it was a perfect time. Join them as they discuss Colossians 3:12-14 and how it gives us the recipe to building and keeping a godly marriage. Of course there is lots of jokes ( from Paul) and laughter in the midst of some biblical truth!

This weekend will be filled with picnics, parades and a day off work and school. In the midst of all those festivities how much of our focus is on remembering?
