Once your kid has been taught to ask to go potty, remain dry for extended periods of time, and knows how to void into the toilet, you as the parent must take a different approach to ensure your kid keeps up with those skills.

At this point, it's no longer an issue if they know how to do these behaviors, more so an issue to motivate your kid to remain dry and to continue asking and voiding into the toilet.

Listen closely to an approach that can teach you to work smarter not harder so you don't have to give your kid a talking to every day.

First eat your dinner then your dessert! It can be as simple as that to get your kid to do their homework without screaming, fussing, and begging them to do it. The premack principle- first/then strategy- is a great behavior change strategy to get your kid to do their homework on a daily basis. Listen closely to the variables and caveats that makes the first/then strategy effective.

When your kid screams, whine, cries, or tantrums to ask for things instead to politely asking, you as the parent could be causing this response. Differential reinforcement is a great behavior strategy to not only decrease the problem behavior but to also increase the appropriate response. Listen closely to all teh variables that goes into place as to why your kid continues to scream, holler, cry to ask for things instead of polietly asking.
