While bölüm 18 doesn't pack a lot of punch plot-wise, it still felt like a very specific shift took place, creating a turning point. There was a lot of work done, specifically in the words we see exchanged between EdSer in several different scenes. Words they both needed to say and hear from the other. A foundation has been laid for what's to come, and we are completely here for it!

If there ever was an episode that perfectly combines comedy and drama, it is one hundred percent bölüm 17 of SÇK. This one is chocked full of laugh-out-loud gif-able moments, hit-you-in-your-feels scenes, and one gasp-inducing plot twist that we should have seen coming. Throw in some classic Ayşe symbolism and what feels like is the closing of one chapter so we can usher into a new one, and you've got yourself a pretty perfect episode!

For a bölüm that's shorter than usual by Diziland standards, this episode packed a lot of punch, plot-wise. We are talking all about Serkan's sacrificial love (and definite self-worth struggles) driving him to make the wrong choices for the right reasons, Eda accepting her heartache while exhibiting immense strength, and a deliciously tropey ending that has us excited for whatever the next bölüm has in store!

Tamam arkadaşlar, we knew this was coming, and honestly, this bölüm is a necessary evil. A valley to make us appreciate the mountain top even more when we finally get there, if you will. Our tortured robot just had his world shattered, and we watch him go through the five stages of grief as the episode plays out. When he finally reaches acceptance, it may not be the way we hoped, but Serkan does what he truly believes will protect Eda the most.

We have reached the end of EzGür's journey far too quickly. This episode is more bitter than sweet, as we also discuss some industry changes we would like to see happen in Diziland. However, finale or not, we are here for all the sweetness between Özgür and Ezgi throughout this bölüm, the fact that ever since they got together they've faced things as a team, communicated, and been honest with one another. An extra treat we got this week was fluffy-haired-cozy-camp-clothed Özgür, and we will never complain about that!

There's a somber note to our BY coverage this week, since we didn't know when this aired that it would serve as the penultimate episode to the series.
