Sam Sims began his musical journey at age seven, learning piano from his mother, and was writing original songs by age fourteen. Sam performs on guitar, ukulele and harmonica, and his eclectic style incorporates Folk-Rock, Hawaiian/Reggae and Acoustic Soul/Pop. Many of Sam's original compositions have a laid-back island flavor inspired by nature.

Sam has shared stages with well-respected acts such as Willie Nile (who frequently plays with Bruce Springsteen), Steve Forbert, The Beach Boys and Rob Machado (surfer extraordinaire). Sam Sims Band opened large shows for Bob Marley’s legendary band, The Wailers (in 2014 and again in 2015).

Sam works with Bruce Springsteen’s producer and his songs have been licensed and featured on prime-time television shows (CBS’ Hawaii 5-0 aired Sam’s Hawaiian Christmas Song in 2013 and 2014). Sam's songs have been aired on a number of NPR stations across the country and his band was recently featured on HGTV.

Sam has performed at the NAMM show, showcased at venues during the Sundance Film Festival and played on The Mountain Morning Show, Park City Television, Park City, UT. Additionally, he has performed at variety of venues in locations including: New England, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, North Carolina, Alabama, Tennessee, Florida, Hawaii, California, Utah, Washington DC, Texas, Nicaragua, Tobago, and Costa Rica. In March 2019, he performed at the Zihuatanejo International Guitar Festival in Mexico.

Missions: encouraging positivity; writing and performing high-quality music; providing music education through performance and charitable outreach.

Some of Sam’s musical influences include Van Morrison, David Gray, Jim Croce, Ben Harper and Jack Johnson. Sam’s personal interests include surfing, SUP, yoga, swimming and meditation.

Never giving up, his perseverance in pursuing his dreams, is what has characterized Fabio's career, this has led him to cross borders, being the Mexican reggae and dancehall artist with more activity outside his native country.

Fabio has participated in different national and international festivals sharing the stage with great artists such as: Sizzla Kalonji, Damian Marley, Anthony B, Ras Michael, Seed, Mr. Vegas, Beenie Man, Lady Saw, Don Carlos, Warrior King, Luciano, Wayne Wonder, Alborosie, Fidel Nadal, Gondwana, Los Cafres, Stephen Marley, Biggz General , Turbulence, Kafu Banton, The Authentic Decanters, Israel Vibration, Gladiators, Tippa Irie, Yellowman, Papa Michigan, Barrington Levy, Peter Metro, Donkey Banton, Gentleman, Banton, Shamans Crew, Quique Neira and many more.

Fabio has had two very successful singles:
"Hot Tonight", was for 5 weeks #1 in the Top Ten of Radio Carolina, one of the main FM radio stations in Chile, the video was widely accepted and the theme reached one million plays on Spotify. The other single released under the World Wide Records label is a Hot Tonight remix, called Hot Tonite Feat: Tactikal, the video of that song was filmed in Kingston, Jamaica, with this Fabio is the first Mexican reggae and dancehall artist in filming a video in that country, the song also had rotation on the radio in Jamaica.

In 2018, Fabio released a new single "Think of me", produced by its producers in Chile, Siene Music and Mirko Polic under the direction of the famous Mexican producer, Toy Selectah. In July 2018, Fabio became the only Spanish-speaking artist present at the best reggae festival in the world, the "Reggae Sumfest" in Jamaica. Being a pioneer of the artists of the Reggae - Dancehall genre in Mexico, Fabio continues to conquer markets and challenge himself, achieving very important things for his career. The result of his hard work during almost 15 years of artistic career has been, being the only Spanish-speaking quota in one of the most important Reggae and Dancehall festivals in the world. The "Reggae Sumfest", which took place in Jamaica from July 15 to 21, 2018 in Montego Bay in the cradle of reggae; Jamaica. In that festival Fabio was on the main stage of the event on Dancehall night on Friday, July 20, along with important artists such as Sizzla, Popcaan, Aidonia, Masicka and Bounty Killer, icons of Jamaican music in the world.

Fabio this 2019, is about to release his fifth album, “Di Mexican - The Album - produced in Jamaica by Danger Zone Music Group (Jamaica) and will be released by Mad91 Familia (Spain). The first single from the album, "Bad Gyal", can already be found on all digital platforms, this song was produced by Tekktroniic Muziq on Starstruck Records in Kingston, Jamaica. The second single from the album released by the label Mad 91 from Spain, the song is called "Real Friends" in which the legend of reggae and rock in Latin America, Fidel Nadal, participates. The single have feature a video clip filmed in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico and very is available to find the song on all digital platforms.
