Felicia was born and raised in the great city of Greenville, South Carolina. In fact, she is endowed with a melodic intrinsic distinctive rooted and grounded in the church. It was her maternal grandmother who immensely loved and wrote music and would always sing. Accordingly, she just naturally did the same thing. Her keen interest and focus in music was so intense during her formative years that she would write the lyrics of a song and study its structure for hours. If there was music, you would find Felicia singing in the choir at church and/or marching in the high school band playing her trombone.
Life was not always easy for Felicia, she moved a lot when she was young. However, she was blessed to be with her family members and especially her grandmother until she died. It was during this time in her life that she developed the disciplines of adjusting to the difficulties of life. Yet, when the going was tough -- her love and focus for music grew even greater. She always kept her book of rhymes with her for jotting down her lyrics! Not only did she have an interest in music, she also discovered she loved doing hair. However, she put her music on hold, while she was in a 15 year relationship because he did not take her interest in music seriously. Significantly, like a butterfly, she has emerged from the relationship determined and destined to do her music. She has magnificently developed into a “Big Picture”/”Bottom Line” kind of woman.
Not only is she a dynamic rap vocalist, her talents transcend various creative art forms such as a skillful musician, playing the bass drum, snare and the trombone, innovative songwriter and a visionary extraordinaire. She has performed in Greenville, South Carolina at local talent shows. One crowning talent show she remembers is when she and her group did TLC, of course, she was T-Boz, dressed to the max and even made an appearance on the local news with Jack Roper. Yes, Felicia projects her uncompromising vocal talents to an unprecedented level of artistic achievement. Simply stated she excels in the excellent!
Her educational background exemplifies her thirst for knowledge and her spirit of excellence. She graduated from Greenville High School in Greenville, South Carolina. Notably, she furthered her educational pursuits at the Greenville Technical College two year Business/Cosmetology program where she graduated with honors.
Felicia is the proud mother of two awesome children, Lajadia and Derrick.
