DJ Erikk Raphael : The Live Sessions

So for pride, I was torn on this one at the last minute I changed it to make it a throwback set .. Since pride always makes me think of the time when I first started going out to the clubs and hearing the amazing music of the early 90s club scene. The Triangle, Backstreet, and Limelight nightclubs..those experiences and friends I met have helped shape me into the person I am today. I hope some of these selections bring back some of those early memories for some of you.
Happy Pride everyone much loves!!!!

So Grab your afro puffs and roller skates and glitter here is my first entry in the NuDisco Genre not sure what the feedback will be but I welcome it all. In order to challenge and grow as a DJ I like to step outside of my comfort zone and even though I do like disco, this was a challenge for me to overcome the flow and feel of the set.  I mean I redid this podcast 4 times to get it the way I wanted it.  I hope that effort came across and you like it.

The Soul II
I hope you can sit back and relax and surrender to the sounds of those drums and vocals. Music has the power to alter moods and transport your soul to all kinds of places if you open your mind and allow it. And as always thanks for lending your ears to my passion.🕺🏽💃🏾🔥🤩

If you enjoyed Zion then I hope you like Body... I really tried to take you on a similar journey as Zion but wanted to switch it up a bit with the sharp changes in tempo and stark vocals to snap you right back to the ground only to make you take off again...please enjoy

Welcome to Zion

Zion is a continuation of my Journey set.  I have discovered a new love for that sensual sexual sound of Music. The low backbeat of the drums and those airy vocals will lift the spirit.  That rhythmic blending makes you get completely lost in the sound. I invite you to sit back and relax and let the music take over your body, mind, and soul…you have finally arrived …Welcome to Zion, my friends !!
love always
