Mark my words, Macy Kate is next up and for those of you who are just being introduced to her, remember I said it...June 6, 2018! The oh-so-down-to-Earth, and uber-talented, Macy shares the stories of her struggles on her journey as an artist, her time being mentored by Flo Rida, and whole-heartedly opens up to me about her depression and how music is a healer. She plays us some of her recent singles “Property” and her summer anthem, "Vibe". Be sure to follow Macy Kate on instagram @macykatemusic

Mr. Hudson dropped by Dash Radio to give us an in depth look into his extensive experience in the music industry through his eyes! If you have been living under a rock, Mr. Hudson started out in a group called “Mr. Hudson and The Library” and they toured with Amy Winehouse. In 2007 Kanye heard their album and that’s when things kicked off for the talented frontman. In the interview he explains how he helped Kanye with his album 808 and Heartbreaks and after being asked how he felt about the album he responded, “There’s one problem with the album… I’m not singing on it”. That leap of faith brought about the track Paranoid and Mr. Hudson’s career began to take off. Currently, he’s released Coldplay featuring Vic Mensa, a track amongst friends that became an amazing piece. Be sure to follow him @mrhudson.
Matt and Julio, better known on stage by their alter ego GTA, dropped by DASH Radio to give us some insight into their journey. Meeting through a mutual friend on Facebook, they quickly began to collaborate. Later touring with Rihanna, they gained a life-changing experience and honed in on crowd control by learning that different crowds from all around the world have their own unique vibes. Tackling their personal stash of music, they are now on Vol. 3 of Death to Genres where they breakthrough the norm of genres. As a rule of thumb, they try not to focus on one specific genre, as they don’t want to limit the creative flow of expressing oneself as an artist. Death to Genres Vol. 3 slams through 4 amazing tracks that features artist like Dillon Francis, Bower, Damien N-drix, and more. Before signing off the duo offered up amazing advice for newcomers on the scene. Some advice they mentioned is to remember to stay in your own lane by not getting distracted by what others are doing because people’s opportunities come in different ways, they highlight on the importance of patience, and running through your career by your own terms. Great advice and a great talk with GTA. Follow their journey here
