Let'z roll back 2 tha year of 1994... when vinyl was thee main source 2 DJ with... & with what you brought in that crate u had 2 make sure u would make any crowd rock. I still play with that mentality but with cd's & maybe some vinyl. I don't like thumb drives, knowing me I'd put 8000 tracks in it & that would b frustrating 2 me trying 2 figure out what 2 play next. I'd rather take my book of cd's & know whatever I brought 2 the party will wreck this joint!!

In any case, that's exactly what Richie did at this event... He brought tha house down!!!

I'm so happy 2 get this tape finally digitized. I did feature it on our Deep Underground House Radio Show on 91.5 FM WPRK with DJ Cano & Myself Manny Cuevas... But now You have thee master copy of that amazing night. It was an absolute magical night & thee beginning of our (DJ Pierre & Myself) brotherhood. I'm talking beyond the muzik throughtout tha yearz 2 this very day. It's a family thing that many things came out of.

Not 2 toot my own horn, but Pierre alwayz gave me his unreleased tracks 2 test on tha show & other shows I did as I grew in Radio & Pierre as a globe trotting DJ... & later I helped him start his Afro Acid label as Head A&R.

A lot of magic can happen when you put us 2 in a studio 2gether or even better a back 2 back DJ set. I also got 2 mention our Afro Acid Chicago Radio Show on London's Push FM we did for a few yrz. I can go on & on but I'll save it on tha next DJ Pierre mix I digitize.

Here'z yet another dope live mix by my brother of another mother, DJ Pierre. Thee innovator of Acid House & tha creator of the Wild Pitch sound.I have to give much prop'z to my brother for helping me out to staying focused when creating music & djing. We played a lot together at various clubs around the globe & let me tell you, every time I'd play, Pierre would jump on the EQ & tweak it while I dj'd. There was something magical about our sets together.

I also have to give Pierre mad respect for supplying me with unreleased music to test out on all the radio shows I did. I also learned a lot on how he works on his productions. That alone was alwayz a treat to just soak up as much as I can.

Anyhow, this is a live set of my brother from Wicked in San Francisco. Talk about a musical journey!!!
