Here'z a dope tape that I'd thought I'd never find... But I found it 2day!!

My brother Riccardo Jackson from tha South Side of Chicago takes us everywhere!!! His selections remind me a lot what Ronnie played @ The Muzic Box. Not 2 mention he has a great radio voice.

This tape he submitted 2 my then radio show on 91.5 FM WPRK back in 94.

I'll post Side 2 next... But 4 now, get a taste from this. Unfortunately, Side 1 was recorded a lil' bit 2-hot, but that makes it HOUSE!!!

Legendary Chicago dj/ promoter. Original member of the legendary House Preservation Society dj club ( members included throughout the years: Mystic Bill, Gene Farris, Traxx, Glen Underground, Boo Williams, Justin Long, Jevon Jackson among others from 1992-2004). Growing up in Park Ridge just north of Chicago (he went to High School with Mark Farina). Dave began djing in 1989 but got his break in 1991 when Dj Sneak hired him to work at Hip House Records in Chicago, working alongside other future innovators like dj Halo and Rick Garcia. Influenced by Chicago and Detroit, Dave focused on showcasing the worlds best djs by throwing underground Loft and warehouse parties, and eventually (alongside Tommie Sunshine and Wade Randolph Hampton) became one of the architects of the US Rave scene in 1992.
