It's been a few months since my last podcast, as I've been busy over on twitch.tv/djrealdeal dropping some livestream sets. That's until the technical gremlins decided to ruin my Canadian Thanksgiving Day mix. So instead of a livestream I'm giving the listeners the "GIVING THANKS - Podcast". 2020 has thrown us curve ball after curve ball so I'm sure we all have a lot to be thankful for. The GIVING THANKS mix goes from 90s R&B to 80s old school/freestyle into so classic and soulful house. I like to call it the thanksgiving plate of mix - a little something for everyone's taste! Enjoy the mix, like it, subscribe to my podcast and share with your friends.

DJ Wayne Skinner made a guest appearance on twitch.tv\djrealdeal on July 16 2020 and took the listeners on a journey through house music. Enjoy the mix and share it with your friends DJ Real Deal

Can you believe it has been 8 weeks of lockdown/social distancing! I hope everyone is staying safe and checking in virtually on your family and friends. Spring is my favourite time of year - longer days + better weather usually means more social events. Since that is not possible this year, i decided to attempt to capture the spring energy in the May 2020 Mix. The mix ended up being almost twice as long as my regular mixes, i guess you can say that this turned out to be my therapy for surviving lockdown. Welcome to 2020! If the 1st month is any indication of what's in store, this is going to be an extremely busy year. My advice to everyone is spend your time and effort on POSITIVE and PROGRESSIVE activities. The inspiration for the 1st mix of the year, and the decade was to showcase the new artists who are putting in the work to help advance hip hop and urban music. This mix features tracks from Roddy Rich, J Cole, Lil Baby, Megan Thee Stallion, DaniLeigh, Post Malone, Future, Drake, Justin Bieber, Jacquees, The Weeknd, Fat Joe, Tyga, Trey Songz, Burna Boy, Party Next Door, Layton Greene, Stylo G, Black Eyes Peas, and Dave.
