In a special bonus episode of the DLF Dynasty Podcast George is joined by senior DLF IDP writers Eric Olinger (@OlingerIDP) and Steve Wyremski (@SteveWyremski). They discuss various defensive situations, how the preseason has impacted key battles, and some deeper players for IDP owners to look out for.

After months of mistreating his fellow hosts, George, Nick, and Dan held a lockout this week, forcing Jeff to go it alone with guest John Paulsen of 4for4 Football. A true warrior, Jeff pushed forward, talking with John about the 2016 exceptions for several players including Demaryius Thomas, Tajae Sharpe, Jared Cook and more.

This week George and Nick do a few quick hitting news and preseason impressions, and a two round 2017 rookie mock draft with player analysis. Finally, they welcome Chief Analyst at numberFire Keith Goldner (@KeithGoldner) to discuss projections for the 2016 season including key components in his analysis, reactions to injury, along with rookie contributors and regression candidates.

This week the one and only Ryan McDowell visits Jeff and Dan to discuss training camp fluff pieces and a handful of the story lines from the first round of pre-season games. Before they could really get into things, the Dorial Green-Beckham trade took center stage in a bit of breaking news.

George and Dan do a little “Buy High and Sell Low” to highlight some players who will rise even higher or fall even lower. They then welcome fellow DLF writer Dan Sainio ( @FFDynastyDan ) to discuss his trading philosophy, how to construct and react to offers, and a few players he has been buying and selling this off-season.

Then, Adam Harstad (@AdamHarstad) joins the show to share his philosophy and strategy on trading rookie picks. Included is Adam’s thoughts on timing rookie pick transactions, how “irrational exuberance” can hurt an owner, and the risk insulation of these picks.

George then welcomes Mike Wright (@FFHitman) of the Fantasy Footballers Podcast to discuss his recent foray into dynasty football, who he shares high hopes for, and a few tips for new dynasty players.
