This week, the Disney Parks Blog posted some of the things that are coming back for Halloween Time at Disneyland. This year, the season will run from September 2nd through October 31st. The standard seasonal decor, Halloween-themed attractions, and photo ops will be back. Along with all the normal Halloween Time festivities, the Oogie Boogie Bash returns on 23 select nights from September 6th through October 31st, this time with the September 10th date being for D23 members only. Tickets will go on sale on June 28th no earlier than 9am Pacific, Magic Key Holders will have early access to a limited amount of tickets, with general sales beginning June 30th. The Disney Parks Blog has announced some new details about the Disneyland After Dark: Grad Nite Reunion events coming up on June 23, 28, and 30th. There will be plenty of locations where guests can dance the night away to all different decades of music. Disneyland Paris celebrated its 30th anniversary back in April, and with it came a new nighttime spectacular that utilized drones. Disneyland is exploring ways to use drones in future spectaculars, but is still very much in the blue sky, or early planning stages. One of the challenges is the location of the park near neighborhoods and highways. Not all is happily ever after at Snow White’s Enchanted Wish at Disneyland. Most of the projections after the poison apple scene have not been working recently. Finally, there have been some progress happening at the entrance to Tomorrowland! However, these are not the changes that we had been promised when the old french fry rocks had been removed. A new dance party is happening nightly in Tomorrowland throughout the summer. Stitch’s Interplanetary Beach Party Blast features some of your favorite characters in space suits performing groovy dance moves. Fans of Buzz Lightyear and the upcoming Lightyear movie get excited! A new drink holder is coming to Disneyland based on the space ranger himself. The Lightyear gauntlet is very similar to the Thanos Infinity gauntlet that was for sale previously. As we reported on previously, there is a new Paradise Pier hotel guest entrance to Disney California Adventure. The new pathway and entrance is now open for guests to use. Last week, one of the performances of the Spider-Man stuntronic show didn’t go exactly as planned. From video posted on Instagram from a guest at the show, it appeared that the stuntronic didn’t release from the web line and came crashing down into the building where Spider-Man usually lands safely. The side of the building is designed to break away in the case of this type of malfunction, and by one of the shows later in the day, it looked like nothing had happened. – https://www.micechat.com/323777-disneyland-update-poison-apples-summer-crowds-spider-fail/
